Cloner questions

What is everyone here using for cloners? I’m looking at several on Amazon but the reviews are somewhat confusing.Any recommendations?

I keep it simple and just use rockwool cubes in a covered seedling tray with a tall lid.

Agree with the other members and rockwool cubes but if you’re set on a hydro cloner I would recommend going cheap and grab a few extra air stones. This one is a few years old and all in was around $35 :love_you_gesture:

I’ve got a couple root rain spray cloners that work well.

Lil pricey. Just over a $100 Can.

I like to use 5 or 10 gallon aquariums. Do one strain per tank if you need to do a lot of clones. 3” pots, and a white towel over the top to keep the humidity up the first few days and to be a sun screen. Outside in the morning or evening sun shaded from the high noon sun. Keep about 1/2” water the first week then let it soak up. By the time you have to water again they are rooted. Also, they often wilt the first 48 hours. If you touch them or prop them they always die. If they stand back up by day 5 they always root. Any still limp day 5 yank it it’s toast.

I also like to do 2-3 cuts to a pot. One to grow, one to seed, and one to give away.
