Yeah that’s fair sorry didn’t mean to sound rude.
Just saying they are good fans with a clip just don’t get the ones that move.
Tower fans I’m not a fan of. Take up room and not as adjustable.
Got a 17w non Oscillating monkey fan in my 3x4, design looks decent we will see how it lasts. The clamp. Looks like it may be able to be used on other fans but I won’t worry about testing it until this one dies.
If I had to go back I would get the 30w fan, this one seems a bit smaller than I expected.
It also will not point straight down but that’s okay, it’s built in so it doesn’t flop I get it I just wish it was able to pojnt straight down but not back on its self
If you think about it @Nicky can you report back here after a month or 2 with your thoughts on it? Im tired of replacing fans, but if it’s worth it I’ll get the 4 pack… we gotta deal with everything plant related the last thing we should worry about is the hardware. Which I always do… read into the horror stories of fires, almost always comes down to the fans… I’ve been replacing mine anytime performance degrades (cleaned,) or they start making noise… have back ups on back ups… I’ve looked into 6” shop fans that are dust/water resistant but they take like 30-40 watts and are close to 80 a pop…
Your shop fans would be your best bet probably then lol.
I will report back.
@low. Did you find any brands? I hate the fact the fans are the most needed but also has the most potential for failure.
I’m looking into vornado shop fans
I ordered a Vornado 533 DC for my small 27x27 MarsHydro. I know it is not the shop fan but the Laskos I have seem so cheaply built and they are on 24/7. I will let you know if it was worth the triple price. Thanks
I think it’s vornado, look into water and dust resistant shop fans that are 6” I could be wrong, I stopped looking because of the irritation. Lol
Yep. You would think a market would exist. The Lasko is making a high pitched sound so I think it is dying after two months. Stay safe
Just looked, was considering this one because of the clip it comes with
Untapped market
A good alternative would be the ac infinity rack fans. I think that’s what they are called, they also make computer style fans that could be diy’d into a fixture.
Ohh the vornado looks intriguing
It is an un tapped market
If description is anywhere near accurate one fan could handle a whole tent pretty easily.
As long as it’s not to strong on the lowest setting.
A tent needs coverage not just fan strength
The one I ordered was the 533 DC as tent is small. It is a variable speed (varistat) so I am not limited to a few speeds. I will update on quality after it is used a few days.
