Hello everyone tired of using my outside soil for my grows , getting ready to improve that aspect but like always I’m cheap and like working my way up , I would like to go with happy frog 
and ocean 
but it’s almost 100 dlls 
, not ready for that , and Lowe’s and Home Depot only MG shit , any affordable soil or mix recommendation , beginner friendly within 50 dlls ? I need enough for 2 to 3 ——-7 gal pot

Don’t order that from amazon. Order direct from them. Honestly with tax here it’s 26 bucks. Never buy that stuff from amazon. ProMix could be an alternative.

Awesome , yeah that’s where I’m looking , so directly trough fox farms , pro mix ? I have heard of it but haven’t really paid attention to it , will take a look

I just looked at walmart website and its there for 25 bucks for happy frog and I think 28 for Ocean Forest. Promix should be availible at most garden centers, Hydro shops, Nurseries.

Where are you at? US is 25. So it is more a logistical thing for you. Its cheaper but still. If you get 2 bags for that price its equal to what we pay for one essentially
With a 50/50 mix of FFOF and HF you’ll be in a VERY good position if you choose to go
organic or if you wish to stay indoor soil grower. Just keep amending the soil and it will last forever.

Ok I searched and found 12 of frog and 12 of ocean in Walmart, came to 38 buck I think that’s the lowest
Ima be dropping some seeds soon so I really wanted to have them in a good medium , yeah will probably stay in soil for a time , until I get bored and ready to try hydro again
Did you try the dealer locator on the Fox Farms web site? You would be surprised at how many local retailers of fox farms soil you will find. It is a very common product sold in lots of farm stores as well. Some places sell it for less then $20 a bag.

Im in michigan and i get ffof for 1867 a bag. Happy frog and cocoloco are 16 and 17 and change a bag. Take a look at canna coco bricks and if u have the time for watering alot more than wwith soil try canna coco. Total inert media and the growth rate is remarkable so far for me. Plant seems double sixed the ones i grew in soil. Little over a month in flower and have inch and a half round buds. Maybe even bigger but looks about 1.5 inches or so. Canna coco with jacks 321 is the shiznit

I was able to find 12 quarts for 17 dlls or so per bag , that’s something I been wanting to try-jacks , coco has no nutrients right?

Yes you start feeding in coco immediately as it has zero nutrientd. Follow Hellraisers coco grow with Jacks.

I should but my aspiration for now is to get something done correctly with good quality then I’ll try new techniques I need to get some buds in my jars , but definitely will give a look

Coco would be a great start. Super easy to flush if problems occur. Hard to overwater as it dont hold water like soil does. There are alot of plusses in growing with coco. Growth rate seems to be a third quicker than soil. No dirt smells when watering. Only downside is u need to give it water almost everyday to keep it from drying out but man the way they grow in coco. 1 month flower in coco looks like 2 or better months in soil. And besides pusing it a bit too hard. Ive had no issues at all with the one in coco thats flowering now. It has the most beautiful colors ever. Either way ull het a good plant listening to these guys.
