It’s possible, yes. But really depends on the plant itself. They might not show until you’re into stretch.
Quick question that i haven’t seen addressed…
Do they tell you if the plant is ceceptable to being a hermaphrodite or possibly is…?
Or do they just tell you its a male…?
I was just curious …
Maybe thats a question for the company that you guy’s are using…
Congratulations on all the lil girlie’s…
Tests are purely sex testing. There off disease tests etc. I’m not sure you can test for if a plant is more likely to herm or not. I have seen some places that do full genetic testing and even cleaning for new type of plant cloning.
My thinking is if it has any spec of male genetics, its going to be considered male…
That would make logical sense…
But in this day and age
Interesting. So it would not show as positive as either if I’m reading that correct?
I broke this ones neck the other day. It was already vertical yesterday, so I broke it again further up. And it’s completely normal again except for the gaping hole Talk about resilience!!!
I like your style Sir @Borderryan22
I should put an earring in it. A big ol dangly hoop. Even if it turns out male it’ll look faaaabuuulouuuuuus!!
That reminds me of a grower here who was hanging nuts and bolts on his branches to help with LST…
It was fun to watch. A plant so full of nuts and bolts that it looked like a christmas tree with plenty of ornaments.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name…
Your guys are all rocking. I dropped last day. Feels like im at a stagnant spot. Everything is green, just not much progress. Wondering if 300w of light enough to veg out 5 plants?
I have 300 watts pushing 7
Wow haven’t heard that in a long time
Ive got 2 big ole dangly rings in my ears… i know im fabbbbulous…
This has been an ongoing thing and they were only recently put in these pots 2.7qt, They started in solos. The early transplant was due to them not growing after almost 3 weeks in the solos and I realized I f’d up. The heating mat I use when germing, with the added weight of 10 solos instead of 1 increased the heat transference and dried out the bottoms of the solos so the tap had nothing to drink and died back which is why they did not grow. I only realized this once I decided to change to coco and transplant. No rootball.
I am now just trying to save them. They still havent grown much but are still fighting so I will ride it out. I appreciate the input and this will be my first hopefully coco grow so any advice is appreciated. Ol @Borderryan22 got me goin on this damn coco train and I think I am going to love it. If this goes south and I cannot finish, I will immediately start my next bean and get it right from the start.
Peace Brother!!
So if you were a plant you’d be hermie-ing lmfao
id never leave the house…
Yes you are!
