I am interested in when everyone thinks their estimated chop date will be though.
I’m mothers day weekend
The description has flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks. Mine will be 5 weeks since buttons formed on Friday. I am just starting to have some of the pistils turn brown. Seems like 3 to 4 weeks away for me. They are getting really sticky.
Holy monster buds batman!
Thanks. Knock on wood and
, these are shaping up to be my best and biggest buds to date.
I need to go back and see when I had hedges. Unless flower can be called from moment they start producing hairs for sex while in 12/12.
Im figuring 1st week of June. They’re 18 days since buttons formed. May 31st will be 63 days. That being said they’ll be done when they’re done. When the trichomes are where I want them. Im gonna reveg one outside if I can figure out how to transplant from a self watering base.
Cut the bottom and bury the entire bag.
Looks like 3/10-13 hedges got some white (button) to them so a month ago. So end of may week into june will be 8-9 weeks if my tired math is right. So will likely have to let them go 10 weeks due to vacation. That is if I don’t see enough amber. Might be worth it anyways for the lower stuff to ripen and not do staged harvest as I don’t have the setup for two tents to cure/dry. I also don’t care about high THC, in fact would prefer lower and mostly stony effects.
April 1st to May 31st is 61 days + 2 days in March gives me 9 weeks. Im never in a hurry to harvest and like to leave some on the plant to go a couple more weeks. I’m gonna harvest one then put it outside 1st week of June to reveg. The other two will probably go a week or two longer.
I want to grow outside so bad. Maybe when I get that dream homestead with some acres.
Im thinking a mothers day chop for me this weekend will be 6 weeks since buttons
Im worried that going from being bottom watered and fed to being top watered will wash all the salts in the bottom half of the soil into the new soil I transplanted it into. Right where the roots are trying to establish themselves.
You could give them a good flush until the ppms are in range before transplanting.
Edit. I misread you may have already transplanted. Time for bed.
Ah, I thought you meant transplanting from autopot to outside or is this a different thing? I’d also second just flush them and go topside. If you didn’t do that before transplant then you can still do it now., but will take longer to flush I imagine.
I sid some more selective defoliation tonight on the NL. My colas are getting long!! I love the sweet smell from the sticky fan leaves i cut off!
Its in a 10gal grow bag it took over 20 gallons to flush one back in February a gallon at a time.
What about a dunk bath? Just fill up a large tote with tap and dunk it. Let drain, dunk again. If it took 20 gallons maybe using 20 gallons in the tote will dilute it enough after a few drains? Could be a completely silly idea, never flushed a plant before. I know there is dunk feeding so maybe dunk flushing. Lol
Have you ever picked up a 10gal grow bag full of wet soil. Its heavy.
This is not a joke ![]()
