Thanks, will give those a go.
Dur, pH. I just woke up form a nap. The kid sometimes wonāt sleep unless I go out too haha.
These numbers arenāt terrible but just like everything else, some are more sensitive than others.
Relatively new to auto pots, so dialing in res swings is getting better. I am using armor si, so I add that and ph the water 24 hrs ahead. After adding nutes the ph drift is a lot less. @dbrn32
I think youāre going to see it move some regardless of what you do.
6.3 is on the high side for coco. I try to stay at 6. It aint unreasonable. Ive sure mixed up some 6.3 and fed it anyways. Hit em with 5.8 tomorrow.
Edit: I hate adding pH up.
Edit Edit: or more down
Just a thought but the coco looks alot drier in that pot compared to the rest ![]()
I go in at 5.8, then depending how long it sits in res, the numbers drift up. I have it now so it stops at about 6.2.
Ahhh i gotcha.
I need to hone my lighting ignorance. Whereās a good thread⦠probably scored by you? ![]()
Iāve been doing 6-6.2 in my res. The soil is 90% peat though with a tiny bit of coco. Mine doesnāt swing at all though. Whatever I pH up to it seems to just stick.
I think we solved it
. @serf asked did you check the valve and roots in auto pot. I did that but earlier but after thinking it is worth another look. There was liquid in it but very low. I checked the input valve and had a good stream into pot. I then put my finger in and compared to another pot and it was low. Somehow maybe in my moving stuff around, the floats were not going up which stops water or something inside is clogged, tubing is clear. Not sure how long, the bottoms of pots were a bit wet, but thinking the float valve may help fix this. I added 8 oz of nutes manually to the pot and it drank it up.
Thanks for all the help everyone
. It never hurts to ask, in my head I checked the pot, but hearing it here made me do it again. I let it be for the night, going to do a better look in morning.
Good deal brother!
Probably something useful in here. Will keep you busy for a bit anyway.
Thank you. I do search but I get a notification then off I go. I greatly appreciate it.
My thing is can you make DIY lights cheaper than buying them? Iād like to extend my 4x4 light to cover 5x5 better for instance.
I donāt know this is the case anymore. Depends on what youāre looking for and how resourceful you are. You can start by keeping an eye out for clean flat aluminum to use for heatsinks. If you have to pay retail small quantity pricing will be tough to save a lot of money.
Happy Cannaversary @SausageMahoney
Thermoforge is here. I probable should have gotten a random PTC heater and put it in the tent as this feels like a cheap one they put into a fancy housing and added a hose. But I guess it does plug into my controller and that is a plus. It also can surprisingly pump out a lot of heat. I have it next to me at my desk and Iām nice and toasty. Now I hope it can put in enough heat that my exhaust on setting 1 or 10% idle doesnāt suck it all out.
Iām thinking about keeping the tent at 75-78F day and night. Does that sound like a good temp point?
80-82 is probably where youāll see the brst results but I donāt think I would pay to run a heater to get there.
