Not to get too off topics, just was going down memory lane of when I used to have lots of bugs. Used to breed around 30ish species of roaches, 2 dozen isopods species, scorpions, tarantulas, and on and on.
Man my NLBx #5 the one this in the grow off is the strangest growing thing I’ve ever seen. I’m not judging I’m counting a estimated 50+ bud sights, but the top is long and lanky and the middle is bushy. I’m taking ita the fight for light with my big monster, I’ve tried to give her different area but she’s always been the shortest so everyone’s over her. I feel bad for her. The other NL is a beast and putting in work, I’ll guess she’ll make up for her little sister the one that was at deaths door. ![]()
If you zoom in on my last picture youll see that the base of every trichome is green. The base will be the same color as the leaf material they are growing out of.and the stalks and the heads are either clear or milky. When the material they are growing out of gets bleached white it reflects up through the base of the trichomes making all those look white. There’s definitely a tun of trichomes on that bud but without getting a closer photo to see the material they are growing out of we cat tell
Well trichomes are the plants sunscreen. So getting nuked by rays will do that plus bleach. Unfortunately the bleaching will also get rid of the potency pretty much all together.
Thanks for the

Make us all buddies…
@anon34311147 this is a plant that had some light bleaching. Not saying that is what yours is doing, but just read up on it. There is a fine line for perfect amounts of light.
There were more plants that didn’t do this, right next to this one. Some strains I would think are more sensitive than others.
I ain’t got room for nothing in there but hopefully in a few weeks she’ll have room what’s the monster will be done she’s just starting flowering so hopefully it’ll be enough time to save the rest of her weeks.
Did a res refill so figured I’d get some pics. These things are already big.
Even lower stuff is pretty nice
I have noticed that anything I super cropped weeks into flower are more saggy and less firm than those done in veg. Not sure if those will eventually form knots or just stay like this. So i started placing yoyos on some of them. Might even put some lst clips on them for extra support.
Who said it’s light bleached? Or is this your opinion? Seriously? I’m not being smart. Can you prove that it’s light bleached and just not a pheno expression showing through? Because each one of my Northern Lights # 5 BXs are looking different. They are all developing differently. I want data not someone else’s biased opinion! Can you please!?
Just fed them then raised the light up. Some of the branches are stretching and some buds were getting a little to much light.
Looking good Sir @plumbdand ![]()
Thank you @kaptain3d Im amazed every day at how vigorous these plants are. Im gonna get another light in the next couple of weeks so I can put the bigger plant on the other side of the tent. Its way to crowded only using half of the 4x8.
I was just thinking the same. However pre flip I think I said they look sad. Not so sad anymore
. The buds seem to be stacking really well.
Beautiful buds ![]()
Thank you.
