It’s like 14 bucks a test if you do individual or 100 or 120 for a 10 pack. They only do sex determination nothing specialized.

I think I paid $16 for each sex test. Go on their website they do other types of testing but the sex test only looks for the y chromosome. A female that hermies would not have a y chromosome it would still have xx.

Are all the buds doing that or just the one pictured? Mine just started showing some frost and none are showing that characteristic. Maybe you hit the super pheno of the group

It’s just the one plant, all the buds have these little buttons that are made of tricomes! I couldn’t believe my eyes! I didn’t know what I was looking at at first. I did a double take and thought, wait a minute, what the heck could it be. I was thinking the light bleached the leaves at first but then I took my jewelers loop to it and it’s all tricomes! I’ve been going heavy on the MKP. I ran Jacks Blossom Booster 10-30-20 for 2 weeks from the start of 12\12 then kept up with MKP up until today when I watered them with just standard Jacks 4\2\1 with a lot of Silica. I also go heavy on the Silica. 20 ml. per 4 gallons, 5 mls per gallon I guess, I’m no mathmatician but I water with Silica every other watering and Fulvic acid. I also have been foliar spraying with BBP. 1200 PPFD HLG Tomahawk 720 @15 inches at 75% power HLG UVA 30

Tried to capture a few clear shots. It’s lights out and I was in a hurry. The light on the Max-See microscope is bright. I’ll try better tomorrow at lights on.

Looking at them closer , there appear to be mature hairs growing out the of the white area. @kaptain3d may be on to something.

Can you get closer with the microscope. You can turn down the light on the Max see. You should be able to adjust the focus to get closer.

With all those trichomes clumping up like that , who cares about a little light bleeching! I’ll take the little bit of light stress in exchange any day, but I highly doubt it is. Your not standing here with me seeing what I’m seeing so jumping to conclusions is negative. The HLG Tomahawk is running pretty cool. I have the driver remotely mounted outside of the tent so it’s stays around 77 degrees F inside the tent and the recommended mounting height for the Tomahawk 720 in flower is 15 inches at 100%power and I’m only using around 75% power. Everything else looks great! This will probably turn out to be my best grow to date! Thanks to Olaf and DBRN for allowing it to happen. For everything negative there is positive that comes from it. Don’t drink the cool aid people, it is poisonous!

Thanks, I forgot it had these functions last night. It was late and I didn’t sleep the night before and it was lights out. I’ll try again here soon to see if I can get a nice clear picture of it. It will make a nice picture to post around the internet, I’m sure…
