I can only imagine that I will love it, I love all forms of concentrates and kief is a concentrate in my book, I bet you can make some good hash out of it? no? I have never made hash of any kind, just oils and dabs. All i usually do with my kief is coat my j with some oil or dab and roll it it my kief.

I’m w you, its a concentrate afaic, 5x I think?! I’ve seen your Js, and they look pretty wicked dude w all their added layers. Not to mention the fact that its got all that pot in the J itself, talk about gilding the Lily 
Got some 40 & 60 mesh but not even going to try it out, 80 is plenty big.
Thanks to @GreenJewels I got the hash gizmo, so that’s next, but I want to build the 110 first

At this stage I would rip some 1 inch stock and nail it ontop of the screen. Now when you flip it over the weed will stay in the frame. You can place it on a sheet of glass and the 1 inch gap will allow a place for the screenings to fall.

I love you screen frame. Nice job. Make sure you do all of your harvest trimming over the screen, you’d be surprised at the amount of trichs that fall…well, I suppose wet trim probably not as many, but I normally dry trim. Anyway, have a great weekend and happy hash making.

Hopefully your (work) day is over and it is now officially the weekend!
Will def keep you posted once the other screen is made, Im kinda curious actually to see what comes through the finer mesh. They make that stuff in many sizes, including some super fine ones so, a bit of trial & error till you find the right one for you. Thankfully screen mesh is pretty cheap.
As for the huge trichs, maybe cross one w some mushroom spore?!? but let me know if you find anything out
@Cannabian, hiya bud! so basically reclaiming what doesnt go through the mesh/screen? right now w the 80 a bud pretty much disapears, very little left. w a finer screen you would have more mater remaining.
Probably comes down to one’s personal needs/preferences.

What Im suggesting is to make it so the bud doesnt fall of the sides… screen it as small as you can and use the scrap for canna budder

I do. This is as basic a thing as there is. They have ones now that are aluminum frames, you can get them very tight, almost no give.
Yeah its been chilli lately. Looking Red! over there I love that. Like the pooch too, very nice! boy or girl? Dude I got the Chopper dvd and I was all set to watch it last night and damn if I didnt pull a bonehead move and ordered a region 2 disc.
Not available in region 1 format anywhere!!! was so pissed…at myself & the situation

If I remember correctly, you could change the region in the settings on some DVD players… but only once or twice. Might be worth your time to check it out.

yeah my misses does screen printing and even though the wood ones are really good the aluminum ones last longer with cleaning…
‘She’ is a boof head red/blue cattle dog, she has half and half colours… bit unusual, but just a working dog from out here, they have part dingo in them so the handle the heat… pretty much cattle dogs, kelpies and collies out here… yep beautiful red dirt if it ever rains again its a big farming region… good soil…
there is a cartoon in Australia called bluey… and its about a half red half blue cattle dog… so whenever we go into the city and take her walking the kids go… look its bluey.
so ive been busy building, im now at a point where i kinda need to remove the tent to do some stuff properly… so tomorrow…ill either be happy and have the veg area closed off and the flower room all free space…or busily trying to re-erect the tent at midnight… should be right…

Screen printing is a lot of fun. The aluminum ones are ideal if you’re pretty serious about it, I have a few and I love em. Unless you have the gear you cant stretch an aluminum one at home, but that mesh is pretty tough, it’ll last I dont know how many thousands of squeegee action and the image will wear out before the mesh will.
I’m familiar w the Australian work dogs, they must love it, its what they were bred for.
Good luck w the tent, I have to mentally prepare myself to tackle such endeavors, can either be a piece of cake or a royal pita, hope its the former for ya Mate
What I will say about the kief screen is that ideally it should have at least 2 coats of lacquer, just to seal the pores up real good. I’m in a bit of a rush otherwise I would do it, it would add another 2+ days to the build and completion plus it would have to be inside and it would stink quite a bit.
