I am currently running a Growers Choice CMH 315 3K in my room and am at 21 days of flower, I’m going to get a Growers Choice Master Pursuit 500 3K-R this week. Is this ok to do? It has adjustable dimmer that has settings at 400 watts, 500 watts, and super lumen. Would it be ok to jump from my 315 set at super lumen(about 360 watts) to the 500 set at super lumen? Would that possibly cause stress that could make them hermy? Or should I start at 400, wait a couple days and bump up to full power? I attached a link to my grow.
You just have to ease the new light into your plants. What i mean is start it just a touch stronger than your old light and turn it up every couple days until full power. watch em very close

That’s what I figured, the 315 at super lumen setting is about 350-360, so starting at the 400 ish setting on the Master Class, then go up to the 500, then the Super Lumen setting on it. Thanks man, appreciate it.
Go 100% full power especially if you’re in flower
Wont that make it foxtail?
No it takes alot of light to do fox tail and then its genetic in some strains to I’ve only had foxtail on a couple plants so far

The light has a 394, 450, and Super Lumen setting which is 500 watts. I would start with 450 for a couple days then up to Super Lumen probably since I am at 350 right now, just to be safe.
