Care for cloning

I did a few clones 2 days ago. Got them domed up and been mist spray on them a couple times a day. They are sitting on my desktop. What would be the next step? How much light should it be getting? Any tips would be greatly appreciated . Thank you

@jack181 I would keep misting the leaves for at least 2-3 weeks. Be aware of mould as well so keep changing the air within the dome. You will eventually see signs of new growth. As for lighting I don’t go overboard, I use natural light or a fluorescent lamp depending on what’s available

I’ve had the best luck with aeroponic cloners then bubble or even just dip and soil.

Aeroponics I just collar and let them go for 2 weeks no dome no misting

Same here, highest success rate with aero cloners. Easy strains I can clone straight to potting soil but you get a difficult one now and then and time to break out the aero cloner - it never fails.

@PharmerBob Do you dip in a rooting gel for the aero cloner?

No, sometimes I’m real lazy and just poke all the center holes thru. Then cut, scrap sides of base and stuff then in.

Other times I use a glass of water to sit all the potential clones in

Nice. Do you use a timer or just turn it on and let it rip?

I run the pump in the cloner full time , I run my lights as veg 18/6.

Thank you for keeping it simple.

Too many “tips and tricks” out there when I try to look up a basic how to on using the aero cloner. They’d have you believe you need to buy half the damn garden center to have any success.
