I’ve made Cannabis butter many times from trimming. Using a vape to enjoy my bud and I heard I can make butter from the spent flower I smoke with the vape. My understanding is it is important to de-carb the cannibis before you make your butter. I’ve never done this, but if this is true what I read is that the spent flower from a vape gets de-carbed and is still good for making butter. Is anyone familiar with this?
Not from practice, but I’ve read the same thing.
I am totally confused. Thank you. Oops…wrong thing. Gotta love your own grown .
I think it will work fine, but it won’t have the strength of butter made with unused buds. You’re clearly using a percentage of the available THC when you vape the buds, so logic says there will be less left to infuse into your butter.
Do you use an emulsifier when you make your butter? If not, I would definitely recommend adding Sunflower Lecithin, either the powder or the liquid. It helps the THC bond with the lipids in the butter and gives you a stronger final product.

Learned the abv from @Nicky
Yes, it’s ready for making butter, oils or canna caps. I collect mine on my trim bin and bag it for later. I prefer using the Leevo as it will decarb and infuse.
Thanks, I couldn’t find the right place glad it’s there now.
