This baby was given to me. It was started in soil. The weather had changed and it took it hard. I was asked if I wanted it and of course I said yes. There was still green on it, so there was life in my eyes.
I took it out of the soil and rinsed the dirt off really well. The stalk was nearly black. It was very hard and really was on the fence about it surviving, but wasn’t giving up.
The person that gave it to me said it’s not a fem or auto. I’m hoping it becomes a female.
It took to the hydro and nutes.. He ( the gifted of plant) had planted in the beginning of April.
The past few days this is what it has looked
Iike. The PH was 7.2. I gave it some PH Down and it is now within range. I’m giving it a water change and feeding tomorrow.
Any suggestions? Is it a female? Too early? It started shooting out these white looking shoots.
@LadyInTheCorner yes she is a girl, you see the white pistols sticking out, that shows female sex. She is looking very rough, not sure what to say about that but you do have a girl, if you are not on 12/12 light cycle then you have an auto
@Jayjay504 Thank you so much! I was thinking it was but didn’t want to jump the gun. I tried doing an image search and it says it’s a cricket and not a plant.
I have my other on 18/6, but going to 12/12 in a few days. Hopefully with the PH adjustment she will come back to. I can’t give up on her. Again, thank you for your quick response.
@LadyInTheCorner nice love there to keep her going. After looking at the pictures if that was a photo she was going to flower and flipped back to a reveg. If an auto nice work keeping her alive. Next time you see that bud/leaf structure and know it is a photo go on an 18/6 right away and she will go back into veg and restart her growth. auto not a chance.
