Canna butter HELP!

So I found myself with 11lbs of trim. If you’re anything like me, these means super fire cookies. 11lbs of trim+11lbs of butter+2oz of bud. I decarbed and double boiled for 8hrs. I strained the buds out and cast into 1 cup, and 3 cup bars (my recipes are geared twords those size blocks.) put in the fridge to harden and I have a layer of butter and a darker green layer that is very salty and creamy but not butter. Anyone have an idea? Best choice butter, cherry berry bash trim if it matters. Will post pics in 10 15 minutes

So what I’m reading there is that I need to add lecithin? Been making butter for years. Never had this happen before

If you are doing a lot of concentrates you might look into either a Source Turbo or an Etoh Pro. Ethanol extraction provides very precise control of what you are extracting. You can make dab oil and you can do full-spectrum oil for edibles. You get better extraction, more precise dosing and much much less ‘weedy’ taste and smell.

I’ve been using my ST for a few years now and love it.

Lol I wouldn’t know how to use it. Been making feco for years with a minus 60 freezer but I’ve used both golden and green dragon. Honestly I don’t do it much anymore because it hurts my shoulders (The government replaced both of my knees and both of my shoulders last year)
