As others have posted, there’s not really such thing as over doing the LST.
When doing LST, I try to read the plant, and see how it it’s growing based on the last training method. Sometimes I have tall plants that I’ll bend over, and then super crop the undershoots to improve yields.
Improving yields through plant training is a plant art form in a way, and not something you can do wrong.
I’ll post my LST when I can, and tag you. I have a great Super Lemon Haze that really needed it, because it out grew all my other plants, and if I wanted to continue to veg, it needs a lot of training.
