Man more amber u see the less thc n more laid bk buzz if u go 80% cloudy n 20% amber is what I like but looks that your way past that piont n looking like 60/40 cloudy/amber

Any difference??? I’m so ready to cut them down I want the most THC so I think that means mostly cloudy like they are now right a few have that golden hew… anyway what y’all think??

Good morning! To me, it looks mostly cloudy with a little amber.
When I got close, I started snipping small test buds and putting them in a paper bag for a coupla days until they got dry enough to smoke. My first “taste test” taught me why I had to still wait - way too speedy.
If you try that, you will need to remember that weed tastes better once cured. Try a few small pieces of buds from different parts of the plant. (I took pretty much lower bud.)

Okay yeah these photos were taken from some smaller buds on the lower branches lol and I put them in the dehydrator they should be ready to test in a hour or two… I’ll let y’all know.

Still kinda a speedy high like you said but it’s hard to tell because I been the smoking the bud I bought before I smoked lol but im going to go ahead and chop a few branches and buds for my canola oil and start making it now. Also im going to turn the lights down in the tent a bit and go water only for about one more week then go into dark for a couple days then harvest. That’s the plan anyways… any input??

So I went ahead and put one in the dark and cut it down it’s still hanging and dry out for a couple of weeks then it cures for a week or two in mason jars if I’m correct? But here are some pics and also I cut a branch off each one and hung them up a couple days ago. Grounded some up and it has purple in it! I wonder why it’s weird and it smells like an arm pit almost lol

So I’m a newbie my self only 2 harvest under belt, first one I did to fast humidity was to low and in a few days buds were crispy. I say that what is the temp and humidity numbers you have in ur room. U want to shoot for a long slow dry 10-14 days, then move to jars or grove bags to cure. Curing takes time like months. It will add flavor and make the smoke less harsh, I Have some left from my harvest in November and it taste way better then what I had earlier. But newbie please let others chime Also get little hydrometer to put in jars or bag to keep track of you humidity levels. They are cheap I think I got 12 for like 20 on Amazon

@Bunger64 I e somewhat learned the trick to taking pics with the microscope, snip a piece of bud and just put it under the scope. I’ve never been able to get pictures that clear tho like u got

I like to hang using a hanger cut the stalk so you have 2 branches still intact to the stalk then hang over a hanger you can get several on one hanger I don’t like them laying on each other
Leave them to hang until the leaves by the buds get brittle and start breaking off then it’s time to cut/trim and put in mason jars for the cure
Could take from 4 days to 2 weeks depending on your environment for the hanging
Cure at least 30 days after jarring up the longer the better
You’re smelling chloroform that will go away during the dry/cure process the smell will get better
The Color is normal in certain strains

Chloroform smells like fresh cut lawn grass. “Armpit” smell is “skunky”. It is not a bad thing in weed, not like beer. 
Each strain tends to have a someone unique odor - my LSD smells like no other weed I’ve had - sweetish, spicy, with a hint of skunk.
Congratulations on the grow - and isn’t purple weed just beautiful?
