hi, i am going to plant some autos this weekend and i just needed to know how many jars i would need.
so if someone could give me a rough estimate on the yield i could get it would be much appreciated.
going to grow 3 Blueberry x lowryder auto, 3 Purple haze auto, 3 Blue cheese auto and 1 BCN XXL auto if the strains matter

Welcome to the community.
Hard to give an estimate on yield. It’s dependent on a lot of variables. Lights, nutrients and the growing environment. Autos tend to be very sensitive to mistakes. I’ve had a white widow auto yield 6 ounces and had several autos I messed up on give less than an ounce.

Just to bounce off of what @shindig153 said. Don’t worry about yield just yet. Get the basics down and let your plants gift you from taking care of them.
Get something like this and if it’s not enough, then I’m going to need you to teach me

I would actually recommend getting the wide-mouth quart jars. When your buds stick together it can be difficult to get them out of the narrow-mouth jars.

Also, you’ll want to have some hygrometers to put in your jars in order to keep an eye on the humidity during curing.

Precisely what is the environment for these plants?

Cold nordic climates, average of around 15-20C each day with moderate rain.
Found an opening/field in the middle of a spruce forrest that looks good for planting
wide mouth quarts and throw in a couple 64 oz for good measure. They are great for keeping big buds in tact

I only use 64oz jars since my crops are hitting 2 lbs per run. Exception is my Autos.

I’d estimate 40grams per plant, but it could be a lot higher. You might have some yield 220 grams. Amend the soil and make sure you can water them as needed.
I wouldn’t worry about this yet. You’ll still need to grow, harvest, and dry successfully; the problem with guerrilla gardening is they stand a good chance of getting ripped.
Once your plants are 6 weeks into flower you’ll have a better idea of yield, and you’ll still have time to buy jars.
Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
