Can I harvest just the top.buds and leave the bottom to finish maturing or will the plant just die?
Yes you can partial harvest. They will continue to mature. It will look a little odd but she will be fine @Ds401

Put a little honey or aloe on the cut to prevent rot or mold.
No shame in harvesting 2-3 times seems smart in my opinion , I mean if your getting better riper buds then well yeah do what you gotta do

@Ds401 i have chopped all the limbs off of a WW plant,even uprooted her…few weeks later i go to my burn pile to burn,and she was putting out new sprouts!!! lol
cannabis is a very hearty plant!
