Calling all Newbies!

Week 9 Blue Dream photos

Second time growing. First time with photoperiod.

I am not an expert. My grow has been excellent because I have been learning to trust the process. I did not try to reinvent the wheel. I researched and developed a grow room and grow methods based on what works for me and the space I have to work with.

I was humble enough to listen to others on this forum. If I had not got a second grow light like @DoneDeal told me, then this harvest would not have been so plentiful and my buds would not have been so dense. I was advised by others (@OGIncognito @MidwestGuy @StonedCold13 ) to invest in a PPM meter. Well that helped me understand my excess in nutrient issue that I picked up on around week 5. It allowed me to get my buds to grow so much bigger and denser by using less nutes and sometimes only water. I thought about chopping a week ago but @plumbdand told me to hold off and explained why and what to look for. Again, I am still waiting about another 5-7 days till harvest because they are thriving. If I had chopped a week ago, then I would have had smaller and fluffier buds that produced a wicked head high.

I didn’t mention everyone who helped, just do not have the brain power for that, but I just want to say thank you to all that helped and have their advice!

I called the newbies to look here to learn from me as a newbie. Be humble, be open to others advise and learn what you are actually doing and love it!

I did not get such beautiful buds alone! Tx!:v::dash:

I found ILGM looking for seeds. I did not know about the forum until I had already made some bad choices. If I would have known about the forum, I would not have made any mistakes at least as far as purchasing quality stuff. Going from growing in the 70’s to today was a bit of a learning curve on tech.

I’ve always bought ILGM and Seedsman. Both have been great to deal with.

I get it. We grew at the edges of cornfields back in the 70s.

@MidwestGuy I think I will have plenty from this harvest to pay it forward for everyone’s support.

@OGIncognito I brought my wife to my grow room while I was trimming and watering them this morning. I asked her to feel the density of the buds with a latex glove on. She was shocked, as I was, how dense they were. My first grow, my autos were rather fluffy. They are drool worthy. :v:

@Bonjoyle Tx for the support. There is no way I could have done this without the kind support and knowledge of you all. :v:

@DoneDeal :facepunch: I really have appreciated everyone’s support and comradery. I hope to keep a grow journal for my next grow. Not sure if I will have the time to be as entertaining as you, but the feedback is what I really thrive on. :v::dash:

@plumbdand Lol. No, no, no . . . No sandbagging here. I really just did my research and asked my questions. You guys had so much in put in so many little ways that helped me understand what I was doing and why. Well, if my next grow is good, then you can accuse me of sandbagging. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::v::dash:
