Cal mag deficiency top leaves starting to turn lime green

Hey back again Don’t know if this is a calcium / magnesium deficiency on my plant … I noticed it the last couple of days on new growth on 3 of my plant the 4 others seem ok … I am on day 41 from seed I have been phong my water with t and b down to 6.5 going I also have fed them 3 time by top dressing them with roots organic dry amendments uprising grow and foundation The last feeding was a week and half ago prior to that week I fed them there elemental line “Calmag” only one time … is this nutrient burn or nitrogen toxicity or is that they are just hungry I will be testing the ph of the soil also to see if there is any imbalance… any input will help thanks … also my grow light is at 60 percent about 28 inches away it is a 650 wattt floraflex bar style light … thanks again

No not at all please do I mean now I’m starting to lean towards light burn I do notice this is the tallest plant out of the bunch and it seems the light is a little too close I just raised it so we’ll see what happens I’m also going to feed them some cal mag on my next watering that should be in a two to 3 days

Aerated tapwater left out for 24 hours … it’s nyc tap water the ph comes out at about 7.1

7.9 here in Greensburg Pennsylvania. I just pH it to 6.5 unless i get a funny reading off the run off. Get some lime juice and correct your pH before you put the water in. Right?

Roughly the same I actually use t and b down to change ph

Maybe not the issue, but I noticed you said you top fed 3 times with dry amendments. That seems excessive to me since it takes a few days for those to break down where the plant can use them. I use fox farm 4-9-3 fruit and flower, and I top dress every 4 weeks. I’m not familiar with what you’re using, but you might be over doing it.

It was actually 2 times and once with cal mag and that is exactly the issue I feel now … I think I was suffering from nitrogen toxicity and didn’t even know it iv been watching the new growth closely and actually I think everything is working out good I think my leaf color is coming back to the normal hence the lighter green on the new growth the dark green is still present on the lower growth but not as green as it was and the leaf texture is a lot better also … lol crazy plants was suffering from something and didn’t even realize it … still watching it closely just been watering it with bout close to a half of gallon with regular ph water 6.5

Sounds like you’re on the right track.
