Time to grow. I decided to go ahead and start another grow. Aside from a few bumps in the road 3rd grow went well. So far the start of this one is already going off the rails. Almost pulled the plug on this one and started over. The plan was to grow 2 Skywalker OG, 2 Northern Lights, and 2 Strawberry Kush, all photos. First issue I ran into was the Northern Lights seeds. I had already dropped the other 2 strains. As I was opening packages of NL’s I noticed that the designations on packaging didn’t match the other 2 strains. I quickly realized that the NL’s were autos not photos. I contacted ILGM and uploaded photos of packaging. They responded within a few hrs and agreed that they had in fact shipped wrong seeds. They stated they would replace order, no need to send autos back. Now I had to decide if I would go ahead and drop NL autos. So that’s what I did and good thing that I did. Next up on the list of issues is the Strawberry Kush didn’t germinate. The Skywalkers did and the NL autos did. Adding to the my momentary confusion about what to do is I received a email from U.S.P.S. the same day, that my package from ILGM had shipped. I received them 5 days later. So as it stands I only have the Skywalkers and NL autos growing. I wanted to do a short run this time anyway. So if everything goes smoothly then I will probably flip lights as soon as the autos start flowering.
I will be using 50/50 mixture of FF OF and FF Coco Loco same as my last grow. With this mixture I haven’t had to add nutrients until flower. I will be doing a little experiment with Jack’s nutrients this run. I’ve been watching @imSICKkid grow, seeing how well Jack’s works. Also will be trying Tribus Rhizobacteria to promote root development, also following imsickkid’s lead. I dropped seeds on the 15th and put them in soil on the 18th. All 4 have sprouted and are doing well. I’m going to tag everyone who followed along on my last grow many of which was extremely helpful keeping me heading in the right direction. The list is long. I will also go ahead and list my setup for any new members who may be interested in my grow setup.
