Building. a DIY RDWC System

I am putting together my first RDWC system. My goal is to have the control bucket outside of the tent for easy readings. From the control bucket the solution will flow into front manifold which I think will be 2 inch PVC on each manifold. This will be connected by a 1 inch supply line. Is there a need or principal that says the control bucket needs the same size hole as the bulk heads on the pots for plants. Can I use a 1 inch connection on the control pot and still have the rest of the system connected with the 2 inch bulk heads and the water flow through the entire system as it should?

This is what i use with great results…
I put alot of thought into what i wanted and how i wanted it to work and i wanted as little chance as possible for leaks with minimum connections as possible…

There is always more than one way to reach your goals , you just have to figure out what will work best for you and the space that you have to work with…
Good luck on your build out and tag me if you need me and welcome to ilgm…
