RDWC System advice

Hi, I’m looking for advice on a RDWC System. I have a crash course education on hydro as I was actually able to harvest a plant using a crude DWC system. I want to set up a RDWC in a 48x24x60 tent. So, any advice?

Get a large enough air pump, air stones, PPM/TDS meter, proper lighting, proper sized pumps, and sufficient lighting, you’ll do great.

I would suggest searching RDWC on YouTube and here. Have a look at a bunch of different setups and decide which you like best. There’s a lot of ways you can do it. Just depends on how you want to build. Like said above air pumps are critical to the plants. More is better.

This is my system. Each net is 4x4. You can out grow your tent QUICK with RDWC. From my experience, one of the best things you can spend money on is a WATER CHILLER

Let’s get some primo hydro guys in here: @TDubWilly, @Bogleg, @kabongster,

Ask questions and let’s see if answers happen haha!

So you are looking for an RDWC solution for a 2x4 tent with 5’ of total height?

Can you place the reservoir outside the tent?

How many plants do you want this system to run at the same time?

Im in 2x4 tents but I don’t have an rdwc system right now but have run them in the past. Right now im running a single bucket system which in theory doesn’t really achieve RDWC.

Ive made my system as close to RDWC as possible without being one.

A water pump pumps water off the bottom of the bucket, out of the bucket, to a water cooler to keep temps stable, then back to the bucket

one plant, with a little training, could grow in a 2’ x 2’ space + the reservoir, 2 plants in your 2’ x 4’ area with the res outside the tent…and with a little more training, one plant will fill a 2’ x 4’ space

How is that NOT a RDWC? I don’t understand

Thanks for your response. I’ve decided to go straight DWC.

Actually, now that I think about it I guess that it is lol!

It’s not an “undercurrent” system though which would be considered by most to be the best form of RDWC

This is best form of rdwc…
Just sayin…

Super simple set up… and kills it…
Lots of reasons why this system is so successful…:face_with_raised_eyebrow::wink:
I luv them… :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

If you need some info and pics of the build , I’ll be starting a new thread pretty soon with a bunch of good info… including a whole flower and vegg room build out… hopefully…:wink::crossed_fingers:

Would you tag me on your new thread @peachfuzz ? I would like to learn my way around hydro. I am seriously thinking about switching over from Pro-Mix

Sounds good! Ty

DWC/RDWC is downright boring. Way easier than dirt/media.
