Has anyone ever used the BAS 3.0 and just watered and had success. I was curious to see if it would take an auto from seed for flower with just watering. @Audiofreak @AlienBrew @AfgVet @ConcreteBudz @Covertgrower @latewood @MrPeat @Mr_Wormwood @Dman1969
No sorry I’ve never had any experience with it or read anything yet about it. @MeEasy i believe MIGHT know something?
I’ve never heard of it. I’ve only used Fox Farms Soil and nutes in my 6 grows. I’m trying out there new line Cultivation Nation on this grow. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
@ConcreteBudz thanks for the tag… I know some people who swear by build a soil and grow beautiful plants, but I don’t have any personal experience using it
I am a Fox Farm fan all the way. I did take 1 plant from start to finish with just 1 nutrient feed. It was a fun grow. I couldn’t trim since she cannibalized nutrients from the fan leaves.
I’m a big fan of organic living soil and I know bas has a great reputation and if they are claiming that you can water only throughout a grow then it’s probably true. As long as you keep up with the soil by keep it moist and alive you should be good
Thanks for the tag but alas, I too have no experience with the products
Yeah I just planted a WWA in the 3.0. I’ll keep everyone in the loop to see how the grow goes.
Please do @Gunther11 we can all learn new ship
Sorry, no experience with it here
Sorry no experience with it, I have my own soil mixture n I’m pretty set n my ways.
@AlienBrew nice, what kinds of soil mixture do you whip up if u dont mind me asking
No problem, I use FFHF, FFOF, worm castings, coarse perlite, n a bit of steamed bone meal. For cracking beans I omit the FFOF, n the bone meal. As for nutes I only use a couple, GH Kool Bloom, n Fox Farm Big Bloom. Supplement with some Mykos, r Great White when transplanting. I also use Cal Mag every watering, until the little ladies cry uncle. I use GH PH down, to get the desired PH’d water I’m looking for, have never used r bought PH up. Also I gots to say, I don’t grow autos. They come with there own set of problems.
@Gunther11
I am currently using BAS 3.0,and I also use their craft blend dry ferts.
BUT I only grow photos outside. 15-25 gallon netpots, some white Radicle bags. No till and I conditioned the newly purchased BAS by starting last fall with a cover crop(hairy vetch,Fava beans, cayuse oats, red clover)first, then planted the photos this spring. Chop the cover crop, leave on top, cover with compost, sprinkle craft blend on top of compost, also adding generous amounts of red wigglers worms to each container.
I am very pleased with the results.
Hope I answered some of the question.
P.s. as @MeEasy stated-keep moist!
SL out.
oh wow! Holy crap, I got invited to a new thread. Hell yeah. Did not realize this was new. Gonna catch up right now.

Tubes being impalnted to provide aeration to rootaone, is a SOMA idea, or merely a natural farming commone sense solution to aeration in a grow bed.
