White widow buds are loaded with trichomes and plants have been hanging for 8 days ,with fan a dark shed with temps about 55-70 ,humidity about 60 % on average. I need to make room for another plants (2) and wondering if trimming to cure them in glass jars is too soon due to being a tad sticky
Sticky is good. Jar them with a little meter and see. Oil will not trigger the meter.
Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by meter?
Humidity meter, perhaps; aka hygrometer
I should have written what do you mean by “jar them with allittle meter” When I squeeze a bud they compress and my fingers have the lovely smell and very slightly sticky…a good thing!
Sammy’s,thanks
A wood moisture meter. 2 prong. Not hygrometer, thats for rh.
If you use a wood moisture meter, 10-12% is ideal for beginning cure. You have to jam the prongs in the bud close to the stem, but it’s one of the most accurate methods.
If he jars them with a hygrometer they can measure their moisture with that as well, in-case they don’t have a 2 prong meter
Hygrometer. 4 pack from amazon just a few bux. Drop it in with some bud. Wait a few hours. See what it says. 63%and under jarem up. Burp 2 times a day 15-30 minutes depending on how high it is and amount in jar. Once at 62 and below open 15 min 1 time a day. 7 days later burp once every 4 days to a week. After couple of weeks open once a month. Easy peasy. I should have been more specific. I am sorry. Ill have my wife slap me for you.
Wife said no slap sorry. Leads to sex. I like the beating too much…roflmao.
Storm, thanks for the tips. That’s basically have been doing without the benefit of the meter in the jars. BTW, This is my first time using a trimming screen pan ,I used to waist the “off fall” manicuring over a cardboard box!
Every scrap can be used. Wifes cousins make a tea from the stems. The Apache folk out here can use everything like us southern country boys. Theslap the crap outa me could get real. She is a 50/50 mix. Apache and philippino.
Lol i lost my glasses 2 nights ago and honestly thought this said jab them, not jar. Apparently I’m becoming farsighted as well
