I just harvested my Blueberry Muffin a few days ago due to crazy storms and most of the branches being torn down. Trichomes were mostly milky and a few clear. I did a bud wash with 1 cup 3% peroxide in a 5 gallon bucket and a separate 5 gallon bucket after the peroxide mixture. I am now seeing alot of the buds starting to turn brown in my drying tent. I have not come across this in previous grows… Is this bud rot and should all of it be trashed?!?
Good morning, its hard (for me) to tell, looks to me like a brownish-orange tint from the hairs and trichomes blurring the pictutes. Cant tell if the calyx and plant material is actually brown. Can we get more pics, closeups, maybe in sunlight and other light
Ive gotten this on a strawberry cough last year. Harvested and smoked. If I am not seeing grey, webbing, or actual goo. I dont worry about it. Just keep an eye on it. Doing the wash was a good move. Keep an eye it.
All the buds and leaves were COATED with trichs, I really hated having to harvest early! But unfortunately mother nature had other plans, 5 of the 6 side branches split, hanging on by barely a thread and lying on the ground!
The two close up pictures I don’t see bud rot. I took down two plants outide this week with a small amount of bud rot , I would have liked to have left till the end of the month, but rain, rain rain.
Ok question what dose thw wash do for the buds and it wont diminish the flavor smell taste. I have many years in growing but this is a first. I have seen post with problems of other grows that i have never encountered in any of my grows. This is why i spend alot of time in the sick plant forms i want to be on top of anything that comes up with mine
Thanks will look it up and watch. I have done over 100 Gorilla grows all over my state when i went fishing the ones i found big beautiful and well worth the work and time my first one i got 12 pounds best ever but a lot were stolen. And this was when it was still illegal not like i could go to the cops about it. Lol but thanks for the info
