@Amjk My trouble girl gets chipped and trimmed tonight. The next two are going into the 48-hours of darkness tomorrow morning and will have the same fate Sunday. At one point during the grow I thought how will I make myself cut these down they are so cool and I’ve worked so hard to get them to this point. Now I feel like Edward scissor hands and just want to get cutting.:rofl:

Not this time. I have scheduled for 48-hours dark with an ice skirt in pot. Then harvest in dark, wet trim and hang to dry. Kinda worried about loping off a finger cutting things in the dark. :astonished:

You could use a green LED light maybe?

Lol green flashlight

when I harvest after the dark period, I just use my room light, which isn’t very bright. I turn it on long enough to chop and hang then back to lights out. I figured the light wasn’t on long enough to matter. I use my cleaned sharpened garden pruners so it’s quick and easy. I could be doing it wrong though :person_shrugging: :slightly_smiling_face:
When I can’t hang the whole plant they have gotten longer light while I cut it down to branches and hang. Happy harvest :v::green_heart:

I grabbed a few branches at a time off the main plant then hung them. Right in the tent with the other.

Do I have to chop in darkness?

You should it’s better to harvest in darkness.

Have you thought about stem splitting or drilling

@Amjk I have but decided against it for the first plant.

Trouble girl is down trimmed and hanging. Smells like madness in the house right now . Very spicy smelling and very sticky. She surprised me in the end. Well thanks to all the help from the likes of all the gaggle of fin growers here. Thank you for help with the hard one.

What is the best way to prepare this for storage? 64 grams wet here and I don’t want to lose it.
