Bruce banner gsc extreme autos/jacks321 coco

Moving along.

@Hellraiser (or anyone who knows and cares to answer for that matter) I am planning to top these Bruce banner autos unless someone tells me a good reason not to. I think it would help keep them short and make for a more bushy plant. I considered buying a clone king 25. As I have another tent I can use. When I top these… any reason not to buy the clone king and attempt to clone the autos? I have 0 experiences cloning anything. Worth my time? Success rate? Etc.

This is only my opinion here. I top all my autos about the end of week 4 unless they show they are ready sooner. @Nicky fimms and does his earlier. Every now and then I have to top sooner since I need time for them to split so I can fit them under my scrog. I haven’t tried to clone a auto. I have seen others and all you get is the one branch to continue growing. No new plant. Some one may have gotten a plant that I missed though  I think you will find it hard to make the bb bushy since it just wants to stretch.

This bb was topped at the end of week 5

And this was her finished

Appreciate the advice. First auto I’ve ran so this is all useful info. I wasn’t sure when to top the autos either.

@Not2SureYet curious what y’all avg harvest on autos per plant?

You can’t really go by mine as I favor big plats. I would expect in the 4 - 6oz as average. I try to shoot for 8 and up. That one above was a 9oz girl My small normally would be in the 5ox range. Good ones in the 10+ range

Depends on your environment, hope your in coco.

I ended up forgetting to tally the weight of my first grow but I can tally the other two that were smaller. The mmb is a beefy one though if grow right

I’ll leave the topping advice to auto growers (never grew an auto, no plans to do so) but the taking of clones from an auto can be a problem, as they won’t stay in veg and will flower pretty much on the same time line as the donor mother. The main reason I don’t grow autos, not clone friendly, can’t preserve genetics.

But you can get some cloning practice from it, then move on to photos and get seriously into cloning and the keeping of clone mothers.

Yea, these are the first autos I’ve grown. I’ll see if I like them or not. The photos went pretty simple, I panicked a few times :joy: but we won’t go there lol. All in all it’s not difficult unless you smoke too much before hand…:leaves::dash::leaves::dash: what was I saying?..

Doubt it will be that long. Each day I walk out I am surprised how much they have grown in a day. Love this hobby lol
