I think the high ppm is because of the Great White beneficial bacteria and fungi feasting on the molasses and breeding up.
100% could be, the main problem is,/ is going to be, you donât know. And if you have questions when it goes a bit pear shape its better to be able to go⌠im using this and this and this, and have people say âoh I use thatâ and I found if u do this and this you will have better results.
like, listen to @Grandaddy013, about the silica im relatively new to dwc but have grown outside plenty, I do use it, I just thought it may be a smaller issue.
i could be bacteria growing, this isnât as good as u think⌠as when they run out of nutes they can crash. so much to go wrong the way your are doing it.
i run my whole green wall by winging it add random nutes i think once a monthâŚ
i add nutes as i see fit, everything grows⌠its not very effecient as i dont want that to grow fast.
but im telling u bud, you will run into probs⌠
I just looked up molasses, its 57% complex raw sugars. organic chem at uni was the hardest subject for me, im good a chem, I was really good at microbiology/ bio, but it didnât link up as u would expect in my brain and was really really complicated and difficult. man its so hard, to predict.
thatâs why most people use inorganic chems with hydroguard, a very specific species of bacteria⌠that after doing more research will almost certainly kill other micro organisms from the white shark and be only bacillus amyloliquefaciensâŚ.
im not trying to freak you out im just concerned

Haha not day one of flower young grasshopper. More like 1 day since flip. Flower doesnt start til u see either pistils or buttons/crowns of pistils.
O and expect double the plant material during stretch. She is about to BLOW UP!
Ok then @PurpNGold74, this is day 1 of flower as she has already shown pistils.
She is blowing up big time, I will have to cut her back soon.
I am going to try some gibberelic acid to reduce stretch, I have used it in the past, I once overdosed a plant and it ended up 15cm tall with no internode spacing just one solid bud.

Yup they do grow exponentially in stretch. Thats why some people change lights to 12-12 one hour a day. Reduces stretch. Crop, crop, crop. Lst her down while still flexible

I sprayed again with gibberellic acid, it seems to be working, she isnât stretching as much.
I upped the nutes to 4ml per liter to see how she goes, the label says 10ml is max strength.

I canât spray anymore as it is too close to the light, it got to within 5cm with no bleaching so I trimmed it back a little, I also upped the nutes to 5ml per liter (half strength) and she is going well.

If those where tops, u probably just hurt yields, but u needed the space anyway. Upping dosage sounds bout right. Stretch should be done.
How long since light flip?

5ml of bloom nutes, the bottle says 10ml is maximum.
Ah gotcha. Watch for a bit of yellowing lowers. Probably a bit to soon to completely stop the N input. Next feed, 2 ml of the grow may suffice. Just dont want premature leaf cannibalism
Thanks mate, I thought there was N in bloom nutes, there is N in the calmag I am adding at 2ml per liter, a few leaves have dropped at the bottom but that could be due to low light.
I will add 2ml of the grow nutes next feed.
A few die as the plant matures naturally. Especially anything touching dirt. I probably should have requested a pic of the leaves first 
Cool, I though it was natural die off.
Last night I added 2ml per liter of grow nutes to the mix as per @PurpNGold74 suggestion.
I had to cut her back again, some leaves were growing into the LEDâs and a couple of buds has bleaching but they were less than 3cm from the LEDâs.

Any worse for wear?
No worse for wear, I had to trim some more off as it was getting close to the LEDâs again.
I am continuing to add grow nutes, how long should I keep that up for?
