I have 10 plants. They are all Big Bud. On 4 of them the very top leaf edges are turning brown. On the rest of the plant the leaves are fine. The other 6 plants are fine. They all are in the same hot soil. They are in the 5th week of flowering. They are all watered the same. They are well into creating buds. The plants with the brown leaf edges the buds are same as the other plants.
Nutrient burn. Your hot soil is too hot for the plants showing those leaf symptoms. Each plant can uptake nutrients at different rates. I would flush the soil on all your plants displaying burned leaves and check the runoff ppm and ph to see where you’re at
Actually they are not. Clones would behave closely to each other to outside stimuli but every seed has a different plant contained in it’s genetics. Variations within the phenotype are what’s causing the difference.
Nutrient burn as @MattyBear said.
Thank you both for helping me out. I’m not sure what happened because I’ve been using the same soil recipe for 3 years with no problems or nutrient burn. The only thing I can figure is while making the soil I must have added some nutrients twice. I flushed tonight. The plants are doing really well considering. After moving the plants around and removing dead leaves my hands were very sticky. Here is a picture. The buds aren’t purple, that’s the Led’s to the left. This Saturday will complete week 5 since switching to 12/12.
Awesome! You have some nice colas forming up there
