I ordered my second 200w light so should be here this week I hope!!!
Gotta hold the phone upside down I took a weird picture
Looking good!
First one is super skunk second is sour diesel! Little over a week old. Still got a lot of time to mess it up!
@cjkat
Hahaha!
On my first harvest, I set my goals and expectations very low.
I just wanted to not kill all 4 plants and to have at least 1 oz. total. So… I get where you are coming from!!
Yeah that’s why I started small until I get the hang of it, then I’m gonna go big with a 8x4. Just kind of intimidated of how it’s gonna go during the other stages.
With auto flower should I change the light cycle or should I keep it at 18 hours on 6 hours off??
I did 12/12 on my autos once they started to flower st 25 days. 3 plants avg. 4 zips each, 4 ft banana kush.
Dialed lights back couple clicks, nutes back, watered less, and no testing less is better to learn. No issues othrr than. Grove bags or jars to harvest 3/4 lb.
18 / 6 until at least the 3rd week of flower… but I’ve done both in flower
Should I keep my light at 50%? Or should I turn it up? Not sure when to actually turn them up
I use the back of my hand as I cant afford meters. Put your hand palm down at the canopy for 30 seconds. If it is too hot for your hand, its too hot for your plants.
I guess I’m more confused on when they come out of seeding stage to veg stage not sure how to distinguish the difference
I gradually start increasing the light intensity starting from when the 4th set of true leaves start emerging.
But there is some wiggle room in that so don’t sweat it.
I use a download of a lux meter for my phone.
Seedling stage: 5000-8000 lux
Veg stage: 15000-45000 lux
Flowering stage: 50000-65000 lux
I also do the back of the hand trick too like @GreggT
You will learn a tremendous amount from the completion of your first grow… That is, the good things you did right as well as your mistakes and what you learned yo not do the next time.
I made different mistakes on my 2nd grow due to low temperature in my basement in the winter.
3rd and 4th grows I relaxed and very few worries… no issues and predictable results. Much more enjoyable and no stress.
So I’m confused on how to use this lux thing it says I’m only getting 2700 with my light on 100%
Figured it out got it set to 7400 lux atm
Do you grow photo or auto???
And with my autos is 18hours on and 6 off good or should I keep them on 24h until bud?
Many on here think if you have enough light, let them rest by giving darkness. It’s what nature does.
