I removed alot of fan leaves, thinking it would stress the plant & cause it to make more trichromes. Six days after i did it they doubled.
Question: did the fan leaves double or did the trichromes double, six days later?
Trichromes, maybe it was meant to happen? But on my next grow, im going to do 1 & compare them. But im pretty sure it was from the stress.
Keep in mind i removed too many imo, i should have removed half as to leave some to receive light. Next time i remove half & wait a couple weeks then remove most & see what happens. I may have stunted the growth of the bud? But im learning & i can live with that, because they are loaded with trichromes. Maybe next time the buds will swell more & ill still get a bunch of thrch,s. The people on here are a great help & asset! FS!! but alot of times i donāt get answers to my questions. Like the last question i posted! No answers. Maybe its because Noone has answers. So ill keep doing my thing & learn as much as i can. Happy growing

@Docnraq hey bro! If you try this? Please let me know how it works for you!! Im about ready to get off of this site. Like i said i donāt get much input when i ask questions. There are a few cool people on here, but thereās a whole lot of other sites that WILL answer your questions. There seems to be a n (elite) group here & im on my second grow & im damm sure not part of that group. I get a few " set to watch, looking good, keep up the good work & so on. since ive been on here (about a year) i still have alot of unanswered questions. Even the moderators dont seem too interested in giving there input. How far along are you in your grow?
I wish I had some answers for you. But Iāve not grown autos, and havenāt done a partial harvest.
But⦠If youāre having trouble getting it to finish, then a finishing supplement like Winter Frost may help. I used it last grow (along with itās recommended companion Ruby Fulvic) as I was finishing, and it really did seem to speed things along.
Hereās the first time I heard about it:
Im on my 5th grow now. I try a new thing each time, leaf stripping is next. Im sorry you have had such a rough experience here. Iāve had the opposite experience. People like @Covertgrower @Low @Budz @PurpNGold74 and a few others have made this experience awesome for me. I have not had to look to far outside of them. Good luck on your fiture grows.
@Newt hey newt! You are not part of this group!!! Youāve been here for me from jump along w @OGIncognito @Bulldognuts @Dennis62 @DEEPDIVERDAVE @beachglass just started chiming in along with a few otherās. I do appreciate yallās input
. I ll put your advice to use & see what happens. Sheās still taking water, so maybe sheās still swelling up. I donāt know! Im worried if i wait too long for amber im taking a chance on mould. I might just chop her. I donāt know if 13 weeks is normal.the buds are nice & firm & after this long i donāt want to f it up. Thanks for the input
O yeah! Ive been giving her straight water for the last few weeks, to just a little runoff & not letting her sit in the water.
It is. Some even take 15 weeks, even autos. Mould has less to do with time and more to do with bad circulation. Its a combination of high Co2 and high humidity. Good air movement through plants and a humidity around 50% is not the best place for fungi to grow.
Thanks for that bro! I do have plenty of circulation & the humidity stays around 52. I feel better knowing i donāt have to worry much about mould nowā:+1: sheās still drinking & i donāt know if thatās good or bad. I Googled it but didnāt get any info on that. I guess ill just keep doing what i have been & see what happens. Please share what happens when you trim some fan leaves. I did it when the buds were pretty much all the way formed. Thanks for taking an interest
O yeah! I trimmed the fan leaves just before watering, not sure if that was a good or bad idea lol
Id let her keep on chuggin. Like you said, they didnt get the most light for most the grow. Should start maturing shortly
Cmon bro⦠i have like 600 threads set to watch. Only time I can honestly keep up is with tags. You cant force yourself into social interactions, they just kind of happen. Sorry if u feel left out, but there are a ton of good peeps to give a hand. U have quite a few around as is
Hey @Brainsacco1 sorry you are having trouble getting answers, I usually donāt answer if I am not sure about the answers. Like I donāt know what causes more tricomes, I just focus on having happy plants. I have heard of plants that donāt get amber, but have never experienced it myself, the plant looks pretty well done.
Your right @PurpNGold74! There are several good people on here helping me. Although Iāve noticed for several months i donāt receive too many answers to my questions. Maybe its because people donāt have the answers? Iām VERY HAPPY to have the few that i converse with helping me Maybe i should start doing more research like i did when I started. I guess i got lazy
there are a few on here that i would give the shirt on my back to in a heartbeat!!! My furthest intention was to bash this site or the people who help me!!! Itās just a little frustrating when i canāt get answers to specific questions here or on google. Now i feel like a big baby
if i canāt get answers to my questions from anywhere, ill figure it out. Peace to ALL OF YOU!!!
& i apologize if i hurt anyoneās feelings
Thanks @Dennis62 i guess ill chop her. I was hoping to get some amber, but its not the end of the world lol. Ill focus my energy on my little ones. Do you think i should cut the nodes at the stem & hang dry them or hang the entire plant? All of my otherās i hung the nodes individually.
I hang on the branches but whole plant works to dry a little slower. But you know I am in dry climate I do different here. Youngsters look great
