I like to be tagged to a growlog, thanks grow bro!
Thanks for the invite!! I got my chair in the back. Ready for the show!!
Evening Growmies!
So #1 got topped and pinned to night, just above the 3rd node and cleaned up everything else beneath. #2 is still just doing her thing.

Morning Growmies, sitting out back letting the do thier thing, when I look over I see this Anhinga perched up.
Shortly after I see him swimming and spear a ! I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough! @ChittyChittyBangin thought about your post the other day when I saw it.
Isnt Mother Nature Awesome?
She really is. Watching them swim around with just their necks up, then dive under for 30-60 seconds swimming around looking for fish. Then lay up on the bank and dry thier wings all spread out. Even watch them terrorize the gator!
@PurpNGold74 lol seriously is! This man is just out here trying to get his sun on and these birds just antagonize him/her all day! Lol
Nope. No thanks. Glad we don’t have them here.
Lol this was 6ft off my back fence. Yeah not a big fan of them either. But if you leave them alone they pretty much leave you alone. Lol
Morning Growmies! So the girls are looking goodish. Worried about #2 a little, her bottom leaves are turning yellowish. And starting on the edges, some.
#1 - her new growth looks a little light green, but it looks okay.
Past schedule so far - last water 6/4 - 3 cups each with aloe and ph downed to 6.6 ppm 150
6/1 - watered 3 cups each with aloe, cal mag(1/8tsp for 6 cup mix), PH downed to 6.4, PPM 188
5/29- watered 2 cups with bamboo, aloe, lost coast plant therapy, cal mag(I think I gave 1/2tsp in a 4 cup mix, I think I mixed to strong) PH 6.3
5/25 - watered 1 cuo each with aloe, bamboo, PH down to 6.4, then recharge.
I’m doing a living soil, and they were transplanted in their aci nursery bags straight into the 3 gal fabric pots on 5/22, which was day 15 and day 8. They are currently on day 30 and day 23 from sprout.
Should I give them a compost tea on next watering tomorrow? I am trying to keep them slow growing as I have surgery in 3 weeks, and need 3 weeks past that before I flip. Just worried about space in my 2x2
@Docnraq @PurpNGold74 I know you have done living soil
@dirtydave @beardless @ChittyChittyBangin @JaneQP
I think from reading a few of you have done living soils. Should I be concerned with my girls .
If youre in living soil, why are you feeding nutes this early? I dont feed until im 45 days from breaking ground. What soil are you using again?
I’m using mother earth coco loco. I haven’t given her anything besides recharge and soil Revival. Only planning on top dressing and teas.
Ohhh ok. Yea yourre in coco… soooo i think this changes the game… someone chime in if im wrong, but in coco youre shooting for 5.8 … @GreggT @OGIncognito @Newt @HMGRWN
Yes sir, I try and keep it 5.8-6.0
1/4 gal nursery bags with just coco loco planted directly into 3 gal NLS living soil mix. Wondering if the roots are not breaking through the nursery bags.
From what I have read it you treat it like soil because its only 30% coco. Even the bag says it I believe.
FoxFarm FX14100 Coco Loco Potting Mix, 2 Cubic Feet, Brown/A https://a.co/d/d5fEuA0
I grow in dirt, but I believe 5.8 is spot on for coco
Very very good possibility… thatll rootbound and lock you out
That appears to be more dirt than coco, so I’d guess 6.5, like soil.
