The humidity in my house is like 20℅ right now. I think I’m gonna wind up buying that humidifier.
I’m gonna hang a few damp paper towels and see if I can get it up higher in the short term

@bob31 I don’t know if that’s your problem or not just throwing it out there bro
I know it’s hard to maintain this time of year and you use a wood stove which just dries air more i use one myself bro I’m also having a issue with my clones because of low humidity I did the towel and fan trick myself and can’t get it over 52% so I think I’ll be buying a second humidifier also lol
I haven’t been able to get my humidity up past 20% it sucks because I don’t have the money for a humidifier and less Walworld mart sells a small cheap one
I know dude and I appreciate your trying to help me for sure. Sometimes I forget you cant judge my tone by my words
. I will admit I’m getting a little frustrated…however there is a little Neil young on the radio right now… jammmmn…
Hard to stay too funked up over stuff.![]()
I’m keepin one eye on my girl and one ear on the radio so it’s all good!
lol,i use the pot-o-water on the woodstove and it works fairly well…we have a humidifier as well in the house… 50=55% levels i have not worried so much about my grow,it stays 55-65% even higher if the door is closed with light on…
…I’m not exactly sure what issue you’re talking about but when it comes to looking at pictures I usually look for will garrigan, he’s got a very sharp eye ?!
@BIGE with the hard water up here I have tried boiling water on the stove and on the woodstove for years, but the mineral dust is worse than the wood ash dust…
That and the pots keep rusting out and rust boiling water on the woodstove stinks, though I may have to put a pot on the woodstove now as it is brutal dry
my leaves are a little twisted

Support Ticket for twisty leaves that began as droopy after watering

Actually, our humidity has been pretty low the last couple of weeks, relatively speaking. Plus the walls are only unfinished OSB right now which will draw moisture from the air.
@Aquaponic_Dumme @Majiktoker @garrigan62? What are the leading causes of twisted leaves? Pulling out the big guns. If they don’t know, we’ll call in the nukes for info.
standing by with grid coordinates on your order
Possibly genetic ? … I get one like that every now and then, with proper conditions in a couple more nodes it should straighten out and grow normally
My answer is …drum Roll Please P H and HEAT
AND yes that’s my final answer lol

Niala told me temp changes pH readings on my meter, but 6.7 is where I’ve been targeting my levels. Even taking temp into account, that still puts me around 7. On the high side for soil, but still in the acceptable range.
On the heat side of things, my room has been mostly cool. Again, I’m unable to monitor the temp, but I was told that if the temp is comfortable for me, the plants should be fine.
I know, get a cheap thermometer in there! First things first.
Any other suspect reasons?
Thank you for that @garrigan62 @FloridaSon @Paranorman @Countryboyjvd1971
I’m gonna mull that over a little bit.
I’m guessing I need to check the ph of my runoff as soon as I’m dry enough to water! The Super Thrive just arrived as well.
OK That’s all well an fine and true. Heat will change the meter and so will cold air. and No 7 isn’t acceptable but it may varie witth different strains. but as a rulr 6.5 6.8
Now the question as i red it said " What are the leading causes of twisted leaves? " and i gave you the correct answer P H and HEAT
Will
My temps are good so I’m gonna look at the pH thanks Will @garrigan62
Seven is too high you got to get a temperature humidity meter at about 8 bucks and for 10-12 bucks do yourself a big favor get a pH pen type meter and those headaches will go away immediately you couldn’t do yourself a better favor for 20 bucks trust me on this one it will help you right away
@bob31i heard no tone lol I’m sure your getting frustrated brother I understand
All I was saying was that i could be wrong lol
But you got the big dog swooped it to help so I would follow his instructions brother man ![]()
CB
ok cb @Countryboyjvd1971 not a problem, just making sure we’re good.
Gonna catch the runoff and see what the pH looks like. Too wet right now to water again. Gotta let her dry out for a bit. I will post that info as soon as I get it.
Thanks all for throwing your 2 cents in. Couple of you threw nickles, so I’m keeping those.
Thanks again, Bob
I have the pen but was told it doesn’t adjust for temperature variances.
