I’m new. Anyway I’m taking a crash course wherever I can get info. 1 meter by 1 meter tent. Lighthouse2.0. Perfect size I think for 4 plants and the SF4000. The best tip was the phone app for PAR values. Thank you Poseidon. I did order the clip on diffuser for this app. It was not that expensive. However the app was $30 and the diffuser was $30, so the total almost approaches a standalone meter. I think the app is a game changer for now. I have my Spiderfarmer elevated 24 inches with a par value of 400. I got the Vivosun moister meter and I was slightly overwatered. I’m running about 75 degrees and 40-50 Relative Humidity. The setup is in a cold garage. I have a heater with a thermostat in the tent. I have the 6 hours of dark scheduled for midday when the garage is the warmest. I monitor the temp/humidity with this cool little thing from Govee. It was about $11. Remote monitor with Bluetooth. Amazing what we have now! Tomorrow I’m ordering the Infinity T6 Pro kit. I can plug the SF4000 into it. I’ve got the light on an 18/6 schedule. I’ve got these nutrients headed my way from General Hydroponics based on a friend’s experience. Any recommendations on how to use this are appreciated. https://a.co/d/2aaX5sA My question on my mind now is if I should order a “red” auxiliary light for when they are in flower mode. Look at these pics and please feel free to comment. I planted the seed on Jan 26 so I’m 13 days into this. Strawberry Pie. Anyway please comment on the pics. Thanks for the warm welcome on my other post. I’m just an old dog trying to learn a new trick!
Looks like you’re off to a great start! G13 can be an absolute monster of a plant. This was 1 plant in 10 gallons of coco fed with Jacks 321 recipe under a Mars Hydro ts3000. Yield was well over a pound.
Looking good.
I am goint to suggest you stick with a thread and keep your new questions in one thread. Otherwise we have to go back and look at the history in your profile and we wind up asking the same questions over and over. It really helps us out when offering advice.
Perhaps start a grow journal thread with a name like
Bluesman54 grows “Strain Name”
It works so much better and followers like me can set the thread to “Watching” status and be notified of new posts.
Just a suggestion from a long time forum member. Not a requirement at all.
If you wish there are members who can change this thread name.
Thanks. Is it ok to just stick with this thread going forward? Maybe I could rename it? My ADD scattered brain gets in the way sometimes. I do love this first time journey into this. I usually go”all-in” when I begin a new passion. lol. Thanks for the guidance. I am “coachable”. My wife would disagree though with that.
Holy Cow! Is that Strawberry Pie? My Goodness!
What do you want to call it?
I can rename it for you
Lol…I know that all too well.
That was a g13.
Maybe “54 Boomer Grow Journal”. Or Bluesman54 First Time Grow Journal, or something like that. I give you artistic license to name it however works best. At almost 70 years of age, I try and not get too excited. Unless I pop a Viagra. Then I get excited as hell!!!
So is G13 another variant? I thought maybe it was code for Strawberry Pie. That’s why I asked.
Ok, If you want it different I can fix it.
This is a pretty common way to tag it
You can invite followers by tagging them. with the “@” symbol followed by their screen name. No spaces…Like this @Bluesman54
@MidwestGuy
@MattyBear
Perfect rename! Thanks!!
The lineage of g13 isn’t really known. There’s a folk lore behind the strain name itself with a bit of conspiracy theory. Check it out on google sometime.
@Bluesman54 ,
A good place to begin a journal is with this support ticket. It will set the stage for everyone…

I bought the following bottles. I’m not real sure about how to use them. I bought them on the recommendation of a friend and I’ll ask him how he uses them. However I wonder if anyone here has used these products.
Here are the feed charts for that line.
Start half strength at first and increase over a couple weeks. Watch for tip burn and let the plants tell you what to adjust.
GH is a nice line. I started with them.
This is getting expensive! I just spent $120 at Amazon. I bought the Apera SP20 PH tester. The EC tester, cal mag, and 10 ml syringes to be precise. I saw where Dr. Coco Velcro’s a syringe to each bottle. My question is the PDF Feed chart shows different categories. I do have a recipe for different weeks I found on Youtube. I’m going into week 3 so. This recipe is per gal of water:
week 3. 2.5 of calmag, 2.5 of micro bloom, 2.5 of gro, 1ml of bloom. 1 gal of water.
week 4: use the above except bump gro to 3 ml.
How does this sound?
