Blueberry auto.... 2 weeks old... stunted and wont grow?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“The 5 Blueberry auto that started seem stunted (see photos below), it’s 2 weeks old. I’m starting in a glass of water, my water is city water but I let gallon jugs sit open for a few days before using it. When they pop I put them in peat cups with regular potting soil till big enough to transplant into happy frog soil. The same thing happened with my 1st order and replacement seeds and they all were beautiful plants that I’m still enjoying. I’ve grown marijuana for 45 plus years and have seen most problems, however, I don’t understand this problem I’m having with my seeds. It’s possible that they are being subject to a type of scam at customs that would result in seeds not germinating or the ones that do start are stunted and wont grow? I was asked about the growing conditions but none of the conditions apply. Thank You in advance for any suggestions you might have”

This may sound stupid to you and i mean I know you say you’ve been growing 45+ years but are you maybe over watering them?

I don’t think it is a scam by customs. Customs has a lot of packages to tend with and if they are caught going through they would just destroy them and send you a letter stating that your package didn’t meet the guidelines.

At this point they are probably working on root development… it’s likely that you’ll seem the start to really get going in a couple of days.

There’s usually a point in which the growth up top slows as the roots grow bigger.

Chill the Tap root is going down to the bottom so the plant will not get any height to it

  • keep your veg fertilization up and shortly you will see it bust out a few more leaves
