Does the Blue dream look like it’s stretching? I have it 20 inches from my light.
What setting do you keep you humidifier at? So far everything is going well. I think my Blue Dream is stretching. I just put the humidifer in the tent today.
I have fan in the tent, a fan blowing fresh air in and i have a 6 inch carbon exhaust outside the tent due to space.
Mine is at 3/4 the way to max. Put your humidity meter in the tent and go back and check it in a hour. See how much it goes up and adjust from there. Mine is plugged into the inkbird and will kick on once the levels drop below the set %
Konflict, thank you!!!
Right now i am having issues with keeping the temp up in the tent. I have a small intake fan on low and the fan i have inside the tent is off. I did crank up the humidifier and that worked on the humidity problem
Should i always keep the intake fan on correct? I know the swap for air becomes more critical during the flowering stage. And that’s essentially where co2/fresh air is important?
Right now the humidifer is running and intake fan along with my LED light and it’s only 68 inside the tent.
I keep mine on for the air exchange and to combat mold/mildew from forming. I’ve seen someone link a small heater that doesn’t produce a glow that could cause problems in the dark period. Can you heat up the room that your tent is in?
I sure can!!! I am experimenting and doing my best to find that happy medium. I have opened a few vents and turned off fan blowing in and turned the fan in the tent back on. Used luke warm water in the humidifer. I can close the door to this office and open the heat vents to direct toward it.
When everyone talks about CO2 levels that is merely exchanging the fresh air using the exhaust i have set up…
Im not sure on the co2 … I know you can by bags and canisters that will produce more co2 in your grow tent and the plants seem to really enjoy it but I don’t have a big enough grow or tent to worry about it. Try heating the room your tent is in, put a fan in front of one of your open flaps so it will blow the warm air of the room into your tent. Is your temp meter in the light or by a fan?
Also make sure Luke warm is ok. On mine it said cold water only.
Holy tater salad. I wish all people in life were as cool as people in this forum. I’m cooking with and my babies look great now with the humidity at 50 % and temp at 75 degrees. Have it timed and pegged!!!
I read it has to be room temp water which i did swap out. The inside fan (which i need oscillating) inside. But intake fan is off and no exhaust running. Conditions are great!!!
With this LED light they love the light!!! 18 to 24 inches so far has been a sweet spot.
I’ll update soon with pictures!
What does everyone do to introduce CO2 into the environment? Everything i read says it’s essential but i dont see any items related to it. Is it necessary?
You are correct, CO2 is essential. Fortunately, there is plenty of CO2 in the ambient air for most of us. A few people run enough light and have a sealed environment so adding CO2 helps them. For the rest of us, we don’t worry too much about CO2, we trust that running our exhaust fans will bring in enough CO2 with the fresh air.
That’s exactly whay i was looking for!!! That’s amazing and awesome bc i have a great ventilation system for brining in fresh air. Very efficient. Sweet!!! Thank you so much for the impactful insight!
Again will keep posting of my grow. White widow came to life too! So i have 3 healthy looking happy girls.

So far so good. Waiting to transplant after the 3rd set of leaves are around same size as 2nd set.
This is day 13 from seed and day 8 since sprouting.
I did get a 365 co2 bag to hang once transplanted.
Once the plants have started growing their 3rd set of leaves and are transplanted…what is the recommended humidty needed in the grow tent? Currently habe been running 78 to 80 degrees 70% humidty. I am about to transplant 2 of the 4.
For young plants in 80f with led lights I would shoot for 70-75% rh.
Do i need to worry so much about venting bc with my fan pulling fresh air in and my exhaust running the temp drops to 75 in the tent and i can’t hold 50% RH. This happy medium is a bit rough to find. i did get set up to run the fan and exhaust/bring in fresh air based on humidty levels.
I know venting will be more during the Flower stage, but how important is it currently in the first 4 to 6 weeks compared to blowing in fresh air. I did get a CO2 bag to hang in the top of the tent over the ladies.
