I filled up 200lt containers with tap water. Hopefully just chlorine precipitates. Decided against filtered water. Rainwater did get them sprouting but not sure if it has what they need.
Do you know the TDS of your tap water?
Im waiting for meter to come
Has the 5th one sprouted yet?
Yep, number 5 is alive! Hmmm think i heard that in a movieđ
How are they going?
Very slowly. Out in the full sun. Not sure if im expecting too much growth in a few weeks
Mine seemed to be slow the first couple of weeks then hit a growth spurt. Theyâre autos though. Iâm sure todayâs sunny weather will help.
Watch the moisture closely black or dark pots heat up a lot in sunlight and dry the soil very fast. Once they are in larger pots they will be safer. Iâve lost a few looked good in morning dried up in afternoon
And then there was 1. Obviously done something wrong. All 5 seeds were close together, getting same water and sun.
So my little lonely 1 is going ok but i feel it should be growing faster than it is. Needing nutrients maybe?
She probably needs to be transplanted into something bigger.
Well i did the transplant. Im hoping the soil mix is ok.
Potting mix
Mushroom compost
General garden compost
Blood n bone
Coir
Perlite
Ive been looking at advanced nutrients products but none makes sense lol
So sorry to hear you lost the other 4! I use the No Till Lite soil from the hydroponic store, itâs expensive but the plants seem to like it. I couldnât find anything suitable from Bunnings.
Ive used all organic products. I had the yellow leaves at the bottom and the others are a bit pale. By what ive read that indicates poor nutrients so i might add some half strength seasol for now. Ive got 2 seeds left that i will germinate now but will plant straight into the large pot.
Full sun may be too strong, especially in The Sunburned Country. Weed does not actually need it either. In general, donât feed nutes at all until you get a few real leaves.
By the way, clones of clones, etc. are not just the same genes: They are the same plant! So your 1 month old clone is actually old enough to flower any time you change the light period. Itâs really as old as the original plant, which could be years.
Thx. Ive been just letting it growâŚwell until my partmer saw a product on advanced nutrients page i looked at and thought shed surprise me with buying it. Its the ph perfect micro, grow, bloom stuff. Dont know if its any good but i might as well try it.
I did a bit of trimming but i might have trimmed to low down or i need to trim more. Again, just letting it go.

You donât really need to trim, unless you want to make the plant spread out more. Then just cut off a few inches on the tops. Replacement branches take their place. But you need to do that in the veg stage when you have several weeks left before flowering time. Never top while in flower phase. Watch for red and green striped stems once they get big. Thatâs one fun thing about Blue Dream.
Hi all. Its been a while since i posted. Just doing what ive read to do except for using advanced nutrients.
The first pic it the oldest. Its getting bushy but would like to keep it under 4â. Do i keep topping or fimming the top?
The second is a month or so younger and because i want it to be wider than tall im worried ive trimmed too much.
The 3rd is a tough little bugger. Same age as second but what i did was to try and pull off the first round leaves. Big mistake as it took half the stem with it so its taken a while to get going. Same as others, looking for width. So much info out there i just dont know whether to trim, top or fim. Some advice would be appreciated on this. We have just hit summer and for the next 5 days we are having temps of over 37C with 2 days over 42CâŚyep, friggen hot. Should i shade them, water the leaves and keep the soul moisture up?
Anyways its christmas eve so merry christmas to all.
