Weird happenings with my Blue Dream Autoflower…???
These are 3 plants all grown the same way and the same conditions. These are from 6 seeds(6), SIX, that I was given as replacements for a 4 plant Bruce Banner grow that turned out to be males that cost me hundreds of dollars in product and electricity but…hey, they sent me 6(six)lol seeds to compensate?
Anyone ever have this where 3 of the same seeds grow so differently? I am an experienced grower(5 years), these were grown in the same tent, same lights 3 SF 1000, FF Nutes and soil…
I had this same experience with Purple Kush and Afghan. Plants looked different but were same cultivar.
I have a lot of experience with a 20 pack of white widows. Each run had at least 3 germinated seeds and all had multiple presentations on stretch and flower shape.
I also am sick of that so I am going to try a seed to clone to harvest run.
Pop 2 pick best one. Take 8 clones and root. Veg clones till ready and flower time.
The first run takes 5 weeks longer but after that I have a veg tent.
This is going to cut my seed usage in 1/2
That’s phenotypes for ya. Different characteristics from the same genetics. If you want consistent you need to clone the phenotype you like.
Autoflowers are normally from 3 different plant types and can sometimes revert ( exhibit ) the traits of these parent plants. I have had it happen only once but it did not effect the usefulness of the finished flowers.
