Hey all,
I’m away on business and someone who watches my ladies added bloom nutes before stretch and now my ladies are nitrogen deficient and really yellow. Should I just switch back for a week or so to veg nutes, maybe do 50/50 or let it ride? Any input is appreciated.
I’m not a hydro guy. @Brian384 ,
but I know @SausageMahoney knows a few.
Deep breaths, I’m sure the cavalry is on the way.
Lmao!! I know I’ll hear from the pros at some point!

Put them in dirt, then we’ll talk!

Put them in water then…
Though I would think the safest bet is to change out the res with water for 24 hours and change back to veg nutrients.
They are in full blown flower and probably past any stretch.
I’d feed recommend flower nutes ![]()

Yes they seem to be in flower, so forget the vege, that said there is definitely something wrong in whatever it is their being fed and I would recommend changing it with a new batch.
@Brian384 - how do your runoff numbers look as far as ph. I do not think the switch to bloom should have caused a visible deficiency that quickly. I would rule out lockout first.
@Brian384 , it appears that the Calvary has arrived ![]()
I’ll leave you to the pro’s, and thank you @SausageMahoney for sounding the horn. ![]()
Something is definitely wrong with the plant on the lower left and it ain’t from wrong nutrients! It’s locked out or got some thing else going on.
What do the roots look like on that plant?
And for the yellowing you could give some more calmag if you don’t already. If you don’t then add double strength for a week and see how they do

They’re in autopots. I don’t water to runoff. Ph in 5.9 then it drifts to about 6.3 or so then I ph back down to 5.9 or 6.
I was definitely going to up the calmag as well. I’m currently using 4ml per gallon.
That looks more like a calcium and magnesium deficiency. Whether that be a lack of or a lock out.
Some kinda lock issues I’d assume. That or root issue possibly. The pH is in range. But three different issues are showing.
Calcium
Potassium
Beginning signs of Zinc
good morning @Brian384 … in my experience with hydro any symptom you see in the plant is almost always a function of root health/environment and the plants ability to take in nutrients…putting bloom nutes at this stage of flower will not cause issues that I see…without knowing more about your particular setup I cannot give good advice about the issues you have…for starters I would be looking at my roots then I would look at my nutrients and water temps and oxygen…I am not on daily now that I am not growing but I do drop in so glad to guide you… ![]()
