Big problem with seedling

another week later, this plant will never flower😭

Not necessarily a bad thing for the shock it went through. It just means it will have more time to be worth finishing. What i mean is you just may get enough in the end to have a nice jar or two full if it keeps holding off like this. Its worth growing just for the experience imo but getting a good harvest is always nice too.

My grow climate makes for slow growing seedlings.
4-week solo cup seedling ILGM Hindu Kush pictured below.
getting new home

Now at 8-weeks, pictured below (three in 5-gal bags)
the ILGM Autos (same dates as the HKs) .

The race is won by finishing, not just beginning.
Relax they are growing good, compared to some that I grow.
Transplant shock normally 5-7 days (less) if done well.

one month after getting over the stress, plant is growing and a lot of lst and defoliation done , i am waiting for the nodes to start showing signs of flowering, chat gpt says that adding a more bloom formula might help it to start flowering faster. i started this plant in 25 of October.

dont mind my little jack herrer on the side

Looking better for sure. Not gonna be done by Christmas for sure. What soil are you in? The 2 week trip might be rough on her. Im kinda in the same boat.

the soil is just a random brand i found in leroy merlin and it is fine, the problem in my case is that i never added perlite to it and when i tried to add it later i couldnt dig deep enough to mix it while the plant was still in the pot. So now it just has some perlite in the upper part. For the 2 week trip i might water her a little more than i am used to and leave her on a 20/4 schedule. Technically it takes about 4 days to be dry so it will be only 10 days without watering (chat gpt says that it may be stressed a little and maybe some leaves turn yellow but i am gonna take that risk.

there is also this trick i found in which you take a bucket of water , you put some ropes, something like that , and one end goes to the bucket and the other in the pot. The water from the bucket will slowly go into the pot through the rope due to a physics thing (idk). But many people say that it works and i might try it a week before i go so i know that there wont be any issues.

today i saw pistils, propably this plant has another 3-4 weeks before harvest so that means i will be here to harvest it. on tuesday i am going to a trip so for the next 2 weeks i wont have any pics to share

If it’s just showing pistils you have 6 to 8 weeks or longer left. IMO

You beat me to it. One month would be a breeder dream time. Most of us see 8 weeks past what your photo shows us.

Are you doing the string wicking method, letting it go dry?

A flipped over 1 litter bottle with the lid and a tiny hole drilled thru makes a good vacation water.

yeah, i can’t believe this plant took me so much time to fully grow it, its been 2 months since i started it and now i have to wait another 2 to harvest it:sob::sob:.

Double sob.
2- more months until harvest
and
2 additional months dry-cure.

Sob-Sob
Best wishes for good harvest and cure.

You can grow a photo on a 12/12 light cycle from start of seed to finish.
It will start flowering on sexual maturity. Anywhere from 2 till 6 weeks. Depends on what strain you buy. Photoes must have an absolute 12 hours of dark. Check out sea of green. 4 one gallon pots in the place of 1 five gallon pot. Grown start to finish on 12/12.
Also check out any photoperiod that says fast bud after name.

This is not real. Regardless of Photo or Auto, the flowering period is 8-10 weeks. Flowering clock starts when you see hedgehogs or buttons like so.

If you wanted to grow a photo, you could run it at 20/4 for 5 weeks and then flip to 12/12. This way you would have the most possible growth prior to the flip. Heck you could even run her 24/7 for those 5 weeks.
Glad she is back on track.
