I bought the scorpion Rspec with far red and uv. 700 watts I was told by the people at HLG that I can put my seedlings under it but 38 inches above canopy. And to put the light at 20%. So that how I have it. Let me know if it’s ok here’s a pic
Check the ppfd map, to dial it in to ideal level use the Photone app or something g similar, I think the led setting is $6 but works well enough. I think I have a ideal dli graph for photos that I got off a post here. Photone will calculate dli for you, be sure to use the right light source setting.
I think it will be fine, and those folks know what they’re talking about.
Just keep the ppfd in the right range per stage. Be just fine. I do not see and uv lights mounted in there? The far red scorp does not have that in itself. If u are adding uva in veg mode, only use the uv for 12 hours. If uvb, you do not add untill last stage of flower.
If you move your whole fan/filter system out of the tent, so that it sucks the air out, you’ll have more headroom.
I start mine under a 600 watt metal halide bulb about 30 inches.

That’s a nice light. I go seed to harvest under a 350R. That’s what the dimmer is for IMO. Keep DLI in the correct range and your girls will do just fine.

But the people at HLG said 38 inches and that where I got it. I’ve been wanting to lower it and put it all the way up but that’s the impatience in me. With this I’m learning to be patient. You have to be. But it’s so worth it at the end. This light I have is to powerful to bring closer to the flowers. There only a month not even. I don’t want to hurt them and if I have to wait I few more weeks to give them time to grow I will. Slow and steady wins the race.
I start it on 600 Metal Halide. Hold your hand over the top of the plant for about 20 seconds, if your hand feels uncomfortable, raise the light some more.
