Chopped exactly 4 days ago, hung whole plants 3 of them in 5x5 tent, small fan on low and using my charcoal filter fan on setting of 1,2 or 3 to help me keep humidity 55% to 60% range and temperature 58 degrees to 63 degrees, so as i said day 4 drying stage and the colas that were hard and solid are now kind of soft and larfy feeling. Is that normal?

I think so…sometimes the buds are really full of moisture which makes them look and feel big … but as soon as that moisture leaves the bud shrinks down …

Buds are 80 to 90% water, so you can expect them to change texture after drying.

They will shrink and harden up.
Quite the oppisite for alot of men once they hit 50, it shrinks, but it doesn’t harden up.
