Dude, I was so stoked to see that. I was thinking half that. But scale doesn’t lie.
Running this one time, is kind of a production, but if you have everything lined up, running a couple of times is no big deal. Recovery goes faster after you have everything set. Recovery, that’s what takes time. @MidwestGuy

Sounds like doing multiple runs might be the ticket. Will be interesting to see how this new batch will run for you now that you’re getting in tune w the extraction.

I’m hoping to improve the processes to get the best extraction yield possible. I do a one hour soak, maybe I’ll do a 2 hour soak and see what happens.
The second run I packed the column loosely, but the interesting part is it ended up fairly tight after the extraction.
If you know anyone that does an extraction I have figured out that extremely cold temps are the key to speedy recovery, and total recovery.
The only butane I wasted is just a little bit of fumes between hoses, and whatever gaseous fumes is inside the extractor after It’s finished. Other than that, I figure 1% loss of what I put in. The white propane tank sized butane I ordered should last a lot longer than I ever expected. Lmao. @Mote
EDIT: I completely forgot you stopped by the first extraction. I blame just waking up. Going to drag myself to the coffee maker, then bake. lol.

After I make a few more runs, maybe I’ll make a step by step photo with better details. But really the whole process is straightforward. Still a beginner, but heck, I’m sure both of us will learn along the way.

Did another run. Still had dry ice from the other day, so why not? Gelato mixed trim and nugs 50:50. But most was GSC.
Did things differently than last time. Chopped in food processor with dry ice, got everything nice and frozen then dumped in. Didn’t grab a weight yet.
Previous run in container. Different plant, got a different texture. Thought this was interesting.

For long term, I recommend keeping in the fridge. I’m not really sure how long it would last. I would assume about the same time as flower. THC is THC and I suspect has the same timeframe of degradation. @Mote
More than likely this will be consumed before any expiration date ever came around.
