Hello guys just got a 1x1x2m grow tent with 5" carbon filter and 4" intake I’m growing purple paraylsis (photoperiod) in coco with perlite looking for the best light for £400 or less was think a aglex/phlizon cob 3000w or a SF-2000 what’s everyone else think the best choice would be. Thanks.

Welcome to ILGM forum. @dbrn32 may be the best one to help out on lights. He’s the resident light guru. I’ve got him tagged for you. He stays fairly busy helping people out, but he eventually be able to comment to get you headed in the right direction.

I think the main is to do exactly what you have done. Ask questions, many people have been duped by the nonsense on Amazon and how great the lights are, that they have for sale. Myself included, I am currently using DIY lights that I built myself with @dbrn32 guidance. I’m not sure what part of the world you are in, I’m assuming England. If so you should have plenty of options on top end LEDs.

The spider farmer light is probably better of the two, but still not really the best light you can get. I’m not really sure about what is available or pricing in your part of world, but I would hit up diyleduk.

Hello @ChickD welcome to the forum. I’ve just bought two HLG QB260 rspec for a 4x4 tent and they’re amazing. Trouble is they came in at around £550 though. Didn’t regret a thing about buying them and as soon as I get a chance I will be buying another 3 they’re that good
