Hi guys do you know which is the best auto breeders out there?
Maybe @Not2SureYet could provide some input here.
I will send this to @Nicky He is more focused on that. I have certain ones I like more than others. For me. 00 seeds is the only one that I am on the fence with. I need to grow another before making my mind up. I am not a big fan of fastbuds, while others really like them. I s there any thing special you are thinking about? Like sativa, Indica, yield, I can’t really help a lot for taste. I always had @Myfriendis410 as my tester. I think the fruit punch from Heavyweight would be a great one to start with. It was an easy grow, is a happy strain, and not to over powering. I test what I do every now and the and liked that one. I am going to sample some I just finished tonight Do you want a big plant or small to start with. The Swiss cheese from Nirvana was a nice small compact plant. Maybe one of the easiest ones to grow. I grow in coco and have never tried soil. So that would effect things a little too. @anon43727043 has grown autos in soil and is great with them
And it had all of the funky notes you’d ever want from that cultivar.
Happy Anniversary!
@Not2SureYet good morning man that’s a nice insight and info I will definitely check these…it’s my first time grow and I went with fast buds and I would say they are quite resistant but as this is my first grow I don’t have something to compare to…from 5 seeds I had 100% germination but I would say that they are not so big like others maybe I don’t provide the perfect conditions though…I read something about super autos they supposed to do better yileds and buds??I’m willing to pay as much as it need to for good seeds…I really love the sativa effect but since I tried the hybrids I got really impressed with the different kind of waves hiting you during smoke…I’m open to try new things as k reilized I don’t know nothing cause j grew up somewhere where good weed is limited now days!!The ideal would be a short plant with dense buds and a plant that can resist to lst training…any thoughts would be much appreciated
Cheers
It will. Take at least a year of growing probably two until you can grow plants to their full. Potential, some strains are more resilient and beginner friendly then others so try to compare apples to apples.
Fast buds is a solid benchmark, I’m happy with them.
Mephisto has all the hype right now but I’m not convinced they are worth the hassle or the money. Good genetics though.
Dinafem is one of the best bang for your buck breeders they say, been in the game a long time.
Sensi seeds as well (they produce the best northern lights auto I think… I grew multiple and all grew great and smoke amazing)
Autoseeds I’ve heard good things about but never used them
@Not2SureYet and others have said heavyweight seeds 'autos are good.
We just grew Bruce banner from monster genetics it was a very good growth genetic, they also have a gelato but that’s it.
Dutch passion is a bit more pricey but well respected I had a bad experience but will give them another shot eventually. Many good reviews on forums though.
Msnl is well respected as well, I’m about to drop their grand daddy purple.
Buddah seeds I was impressed with their purple kush, came out purple and smells soooo fruity.
Barney’s Farm award winning seed bank, I grew a cbd plant and it was really amazing for how low the thc was.
DNA Genetics legit, federally licensed company in Canada $$$
Humboldt Seed Organization, respected seed breeder.
Reserva Privada, no experince but hear about them.
Sweet seeds, same as above.
Short stuff, grew Thier purple gorilla (I think it’s one of their trademark best autos but yeah big yeild and my friend loves it)
samsara seeds
kanabia
blimburn
All worth a shot depending on what strain your looking for. My suggestion is to find what effects you want then strain hunt on a seed browsing mission.
ILGM ide grow their Gutl. Scout cookies but that’s it currently. Big plant
Super autos are just fast flowering photos almost. I wouldn’t bother unless growing outside
@Nicky really appreciate it!!That’s gold I have a lot of research to do
Bookmark this one!! Dang @Nicky How long have you been growing! This is a thesis in seeds and seed banks in the making. Because I’m sure things change regularly, a book may not make sense. I would purchase one!
Seriously, great information!
Been growing autos for a little over two years but because of my job I have spent the last 3 years reading everything I can all day everyday at work.
I have a pretty sweet job that pays me to wait until they need me which is very rare lol.
If I had a bigger piece of property or I was home more I would grow more, however due to space and time restraints I can only grow 5 at a time currently then each summer I get to run an extra 4 outside on my deck due to legal issues in my area. (only 4 can be visible basically).
Royal Queen seeds also has seeds I have to re grow them. They are definitely autos that flip I just dono how good they are but I wouldn’t hesitate to try them if you like one of their strains. @Not2SureYet sent me skme RQS diesels that I will be dropping eventually, he said everyone liked them.
Out of likes. I will say this from me. If I was to choose one strain to have a new person grow for an auto. it would be with out a doubt. The Critical purple from growerschoice. It is a great smoke. Super consistent in it’s grows. And easy to grow. It will yield enough to have you wanting to grow for ever lol This is one of the grows I did with the CP @bonnie1 grows this strain often.
@Not2SureYet and everyone else I’ve been so busy & just got my first dose vaccine! Right now I have 3 Amnesia Haze and just dropped 4 Critical Purple. One already grew a tail so I put her in the rapid rooter & she popped this morning already! Yes I love CP and AH and I’ll be purchasing more from growers this week. I’ll take pics later when I get time…
Good to see you back @bonnie1 I will have to search for your journal again I have 2 CP that are now 3 days old.
