I am getting all my supplies together to start my first grow tent and I am agonizing over lighting. I have decided I want to do 600w mh/hps air cooled reflector. But I am stuck on what brand to get. So many contradicting reviews. I have the ipower air cooled reflector ballast kit in my amazon cart but it also has a lot of differing reviews. Any advice on best brands for the ballast and air cooled reflectors would be greatly appreciated!!

@KalleAnka. I’ve got 2 Nanolux 600’s running for ballasts.
So far no issues after a few grows on them.
( Bought them used but like new ).

Love them for the light foot print. 4 ft by 5 ft.
Just a caution as they are heavy. 40 lbs so you’ll need something to solidly mount them safely.

I’ve never used the ipower, but I think @latewood has.
The larger hood like Oldguy posted is great for getting a little more balanced intensity .
