Ugh! Plant was about to tip over when I reached for it I broke it at main stem. She just started to flower. I found an old post and used painters tape and honey (had to retape to put the honey on) so that’s what I did. My question is, I read this type of ww does not like stress. Now that I’ve preformed high stress training to my no stress plant, if/when she recovers will she just be a low performer? Can they turn herm?
They can and it might. Hard to say.
I only have one grow under my belt but if this is the worst thing you have done to your plant I would not sweat it. Keep taking care of it. And pay more than the usual attention for the next week or so.
Did the stem snap completely off?
Not completely, Growit. Looked like a really hard bend and split in the middle about 1 inch. This is my first indoor grow. And I grew outdoors last summer. Learning a lot. lol
Think youll be fine. Broke mine during switch to 12/12, taped her up , shes fine
Your good
My lite fixture fell on my plants once while they were in flower snapped the main cola on my blueberry a week from harvest
I just staightened her up and was just fine no tape or nothin
They can take quite alot of abuse
Happy growing and keep us posted on how thing are goin.
Ok can you post a picture of the plant
Are tou growing wwa ??
If shes in flower she may or may not recover hiw low on main stem was break ?
@schmellymely
Here ya go, @Countryboyjvd1971 Countryboyjvd1971:
Its pretty far down… below any leaves. I can’t show the actual break. I fussed with it this morning put on a better band aid and some supports. It’s a pretty bad break, not all the way through, but might as well be.

I need a bigger grow room

update: RIP shorty. She got more drooped than above. I couldn’t watch anymore. Decided she would die in the name of education. photos to follow
Ouch @schmellymely
Since you caught it quickly i think you have a good shot of that healing after seeing the picture
Just be gentle and i would foliar spray them a couple times a week till you see new growth starting so it can get some nutrients intake through leaves
youll know in a week or so if it took
It may als look worse before it looks better fyi
Its low on my plant whichbis better then up top
@Countryboyjvd1971 Too late. I killed it. It did look worse… it won’t be getting better, lol
Dam sorry @schmellymely
That stinks
You have something else to grow or start ?
Try and take that tape off after a week and use supports to hold her if needed…
If you leave it covered for much longer with no light, that area on the stem will try and take root…
If you wanted to get really crazy, cut that whole plant off, re-root and re-veg it in Rockwooll, return it to the soil and grow it big!!!
Idk, that’s just what id do.
You couldn’t have killed it! You can make that girl re-root!!
Dip the break in aloe Vera or clonex and put it in some rockwool under a soft florescent light 24/7!
It will start to look terrible but be patient, once she gets some roots things will change for the better
Shoot you can clone or reroot that girl actually @TDubWilly brings up a great point
Right! All is not lost.
Hope he didnt cut her into small pieces
I hope so too lol
@Countryboyjvd1971 yes, or I would have tried harder to save that one. It was holding on my a thin strip of skin. But I have 2 ww growing well, and one bag seed plant.
@TDubWilly HA! You guessed it. That’s what I’m trying. Not big hope, but it’ll be interesting.
To learn you need to try.
Here both planted at same time. The short one was always having problems
