Beginner photo period seeds

I forgot to mention the little runt is my do si dos seedling that went full genetic knucklehead on me i believe but I haven’t given up on it.it had the same exact treatment as the others and was plantedthe same day…the small cup is another do si dos seed I planted to hopefully do much better… the first plant that has a green tag behind it is a feminized AK-47 and the second one with the white tag is a feminized White Widow all Photoperiod on a 18 on and 6 off light timer…thanks again folks…

Sometimes the runt is the biggest producer of tight quality buds :love_you_gesture:

I’ve messed with autos for a long time, don’t bother, the product you get out of those things is way worse and they’re not even easier than photos, they are very finicky and more sensitive to nutes and the other elements.

I was doing autos because when I first started growing I was getting power outages every few weeks for days at a time (Long Island and their old school power lines ha ha) but the truth is, photos are only truly sensitive to light schedules when they receive TOO much light, not too much dark. Hence, an extra 2 hours of light one day during flowering may ruin your entire grow, but not having light for 3 straight days won’t bother them too much.

Timers are pretty much mandatory for growing photos however. But they are so cheap and so easy to use. Do not fear the photo. Fear the auto instead, and the nonstop judgements other growers will have over you
