do you think with this being my first grow that as long as i pay attention to detail a regular feminized godfather og ill be able to grow it just fine versus another type thats autoflower.
I have only grown photos. It seems what I read on here autos can actually be more difficult. Many here grow both so they will chime in. Good growing.
I am on my first grow as well! I’m growing auto’s and I haven’t really had any major issues yet! But I am growing organic! What nutrient and soil line up yu plan on using?
as first grow many advice starting with photos because even if you make a mistake they have time to recover you can just veg them longer
With autos you have limited time so if you make a mistake they won’t have time to recover
from my understanding this is the main difference
my first grow was with autos
Rule #1 no mistakes! lol
That’s what this forum is for!
As long as you can provide 12 hours of uninterrupted, total darkness for its flowering phase, then yes.
%100 my living room doesnt even have a light source of any kind lol not even a socket for it
Im a fairly new grower and have done both auto and photo. Could be just me , but out side of not having to change light schedule i didn’t really see any difference, i mean im sure there are some things. But you should be just fine, show your girl some love spend time with her youll do just fine. For me the hardest part is having patience. Happy growing.
I agree. i dont find one harder or easier than the other so to say. like others have said a photo does offer the advantage of being able to recover from mistakes. I think the main thing is to accept that it will be a learning experience either way and to enjoy the process and be happy with the results. there is a lot of info and helpful folks on this forum. I have seen some truly amazing first grows on here as a result of following advice. Start with a good quality light and some marijuana friemdly soil and i believe you will have satisfying results. be diligent and follow the knowledge here and you will have amazing results. I do believe as a general rule of thumb when growing weed you get back what you put in. a very healthy and high yield plant takes a lot of knowledge and work. I still dont grow at the level I see many people on here grow… im personally a bit lazy and dont like checking run off numbers and staying on top of everything. happy growing! I hope you find it enjoyable.
Couldn’t have said it better
@Meloco1980
I think photo better for beginners by far. Just my thiughts.
